Shortly after coming home from the hospital, my daughter introduced herself to solids.

Now at 7 months, she loves fudgesicles!!!!!

"I never really introduced her to solids myself. She basically introduced herself."

The stupid frightens me.

Yea, because babies know exactly what they're doing when they reach for something. *bangs head on desk*

You know - logically, how did the baby even swallow it? I remember Corbin when he was that little.. and he'd push on my finger if I was sticking it in there. And his bio. father tried to give him juice or something on the tip of his finger, and Corbin pushed his finger out of his mouth.

(note so I don't get my ass reamed: when he told me what he did, i ripped his ass.. it was stupid. he did it because he wanted to see the face Corbin would make. *headdesk*)

Actually, that won't cause diabetes. Even type 2 although that is usually caused by being obese. Fudgesicles don't have much fat even.

*Type 1 diabetic here who was kind of offended by your ignorant statement.

MY daughter introduced herself to painting last weekend, grabbing for a gallon of paint so NATURALLY we just let her play in it of course.

She's also reaching for knives, pop, candy and soap, I think she's ADVANCED!!!1!!
