So I've been watching the recent vids for the final riot tour [the reno show] and ... NO ONE BUT THE FRONT FEW ROWS REALLY SEEM TO BE INTO THE SHOW. Maybe its just the videos but there was a few with great long views and half the crowd seemed boring. Its just weird to see because I know most paramore fans that I know [or at least on here] would be extremely into the show. Even if im in the middle or back I like to rock out. It just makes for a boring show when kids are "too" cool to have some fun.

ROCK OUT AT SHOWS, ha

i totally thought that too!

in europe people nearly die from the whole crowd being so into it.
it doesn't look that hard to get to the front..

exactly my point. most shows Ive been to lately you cant get to the front cause the crowds so into it! its fun [and again just to push my point, I dont mean by being violent]

Thats what most big concerts are like tbh. When at a smaller venue only like really into it fans are there so it just seems like there is more energy. The Hit the Lights and All Time Low show i went to a couple of weeks ago was amazing because literally every person was singing and jumping but I mean then later i went to the back and people were just chilling so I mean it happens at every concert.

i don't think you need to be pushing and shoving to be into a show, personally.
You can just enjoy hearing the music.
i actually find it ridiculous that people mosh at paramore shows.

agreed. it's so hard to concentrate on just the show and the music
when the people around you are knocking you off your feet.

it's probobly like that cause most of the people are so into taking pics and filming and stuff that they don't have time to mosh & jump around and really pay attention to music. it's so sad cause concerts are not about who takes the best pics & stuff, it's about enjoying live music. just take a few pics and film a song or two.

and as someone said, in europe (where i live) people are just craaaaazy at concerts. when i saw paramore in sweden i was @ front row (josh's side) and i got sooooo squeezed and mashed up and i was so bruised afterwords but it was sooo worth it, besides, a concert is not somplete without a couple of bruises :P

Maybe the back half is there for jacks mannequin, phantom planet or paper route. I like being in the pit but when the pushing and shoving starts, its hard to enjoy the show. At the last paramore show I went, it was insane and I could hardly see. After paramores set I got the heck out of there and watched jimmy eat world from the back. I fully enjoyed their set. And the best thing? I could see! Haha

I was in the crowd at Bamboozle for Paramore and at the front kids were NUTS. I was getting trampled, so I went and found my friends and stood in the back. We jumped around and screamed our hearts out, people were making fun of us but I don't care, they were all totally lame. I can't sit still listening to one of my favorite bands, it's like their energy flows though me or something. Even bands I am not into or don't know I at least bop my head to and tap my feet. Music makes me move!

P.S maybe those kids are just there for Misery Business, or the early bands. I just say better for us real fans, let's ROCK IT!

I haaaaaate when people don't move at concerts. I went to the Spic Girls in January and the people in front of me were just standing there.. I just don't know how you can listen to the Spice Girls and NOT MOVE. lol. I went to Bon Jovi a few weeks ago because The All-American Rejects opened and the people in front of my friend and I told us to shut up and calm down.. seriously, you're at a fricken' rock concert, are you kidding me? I knew like 2 Bon Jovi songs but I was still standing and dancing to the ones I didn't know (I guess people standing still is more understandable in that case since they're older.. but still.. unless you're 80 I think you can move a little, haha) I just can't stand still at concerts.. don't understand how anyone can. But like you said.. pushing is not cool and stuff like that.
When I went to see Paramore last fall everyone was really into it though. But I do see what you mean with the videos.. so many people just stand there. Even if you don't know the song you can still move, ya know? & it makes me sad because some people look so unhappy and I would kill to be there!

I agree with this. every show I've ever been to there, the crowd stands around like they dont know what's happening.

I also think that because they don't get a lot of shows (they get more now than they used to) people who live there that dont really know the band's music that well will show up, especially when it's someone popular.
