"The Blackout vocalist Sean Smith told Kerrang! that one of Paramore's biggest hits was written about him.

In an interview in this Wednesday's Kerrang! magazine, we asked Smith if he was gonna try and woo Paramore frontwoman Hayley Williams at this weekend's Give It A Name festival?

The peroxide-blonde Welshman replied that Williams had in fact asked him to marry her and he had to, um, turn her down!

"We toured with them before and got on well - and she asked to me to marry her but I had to turn her down!" he explains. "That song Crushcrushcrush is about how crushed she was by the whole thing. That's actually why we're not on the same day, because everyone in the music business knows how awkward it would be if we saw each other again. I mean, nobody wants to see her crying on stage..."

A spokesperson for Paramore was unavailable for comment, but we think Sean's just bloody well making it up!"
