I seem to have misplaced something upon my arrival - he should have shown himself by now. Or perhaps he was taken again without my permission before all this~? I keep on having to remind her not borrow things without asking my approval. ♥

[there's the sound of a door being kicked down, and a quiet, high-pitched whine]

EMOX, I KNOW YOU'RE IN----

[pause. .... very. long. pause]

[the whining sound gets a little louder, closer to the journal, and there's the sound of very calculated footsteps across the room]

Or mebbe I don't. ... Last I checked I was. Not. Kicking out the door of a bathroom from the inside. And this is not the back room of Aldo's Bakery. [sounds of a window opening, and closing] Now that ... is not Upper Manhattan.

[a faint chirp and click] Zed? ... Hm. [click] Communicator down. [a short, irritated sigh] Right. Some sort of transport, definitely. ... Hel-lo, what's this.

Dictating journal. Hmh. Haven't seen somethin' like this since we tried patenting it from the Jezerians. Worth a shot.

[clears his throat] Hello out there. This is Agent Kay of the Men in Black. According to the protocol for unauthorized inter-locale transport set down in Section 86.5-Epsilon of the Tycho Treaty, I would like to be made aware of my current coordinates. ... Oh, and if you've seen a loudmouthed kid named Jay in a black suit runnin' round, I'll be happy to take him off your hands. Thank you.

[All is silent. Then all of a sudden, the distinct sound of something moving through air is recorded, and a brief gasp/cry of pain accompanies a painfully loud impact with a wall in the room.

Moments later, the sound of something crumpling to the floor is recorded. Seconds after that, the sound of something being stabbed into the floor is recorded. And after that? The sound of someone pushing back to their feet, making little more than a groan as he did.]

What the...Where did you go? Is this another...[A bit of stumbling, but he's back on his feet] I thought we were done with the illusions by now.

Did anyone else randomly burst into a group musical number last night? [And he's scratched that out so it's illegible and closed his journal]

[Aaaaand a few minutes later, Crowley's working on the Bentley. He seems to work on it a lot more in Paradisa than he did at home. Maybe if people stopped DESTROYING IT he wouldn't have to. He hasn't even noticed that he's wearing the leather jacket again. T-Birds, gather!]

[There's a sound of a motorcycle rolling through and disturbing the quiet of Paradisa. Lady has arrived, everyone! But she's not too pleased. And this castle business definitely isn't Main and Tenth, where she needs to be like...five minutes ago.]

What?!

Oh, no. No, no, no. You've got to be fucking kidding me.

All right, look, I don't have a lot of time to deal with this, okay? Someone back home needs me to help them from becoming demon food.

So the sooner I get directions, the better.

[There's a pause.]

And you'd better be quick about this, if you're going to be of any help at all.

ooc; Strikes are muttered. And someone's cranky~

And she figures that the book is going to respond in text, not voice, since that's how books roll. xD

[there's the soft sound of sheets rustling as somebody gets up; as per usual in this place, the journal is sitting open next to the bed on the nightstand; this time, the sounds of awakening are followed by a small gasp]

I- This isn't my bedroom. This doesn't look like any of the rooms in my uncle's citadel.

[the voice belongs to a young girl, sounding vaguely formal in speech even in shock; she's moving about the room now, and then there's the swooshing of the curtains being opened rather forcefully]

This... this doesn't look like Summersea at all!

[give her a moment; she's reaching for the connection between herself and her siblings, but... nothing.... they're still too far, it seems]

This must have been done with magic... but how? [there's a pause] No, first, I need to find out where exactly I've been taken to.


[feel free to interrupt her monologue by this point~]

Okay.  So I'm in this weird place, when last night I went to bed.  This isn't some strange dream, and it feels so real.   If Morrolan saw me I'd never hear the end of this, I'm sure.

[she paces around, finally noticing the journal on her nightstand, open and recording everything she just said, starts writing now]

What kind of wizardry is this? Maybe it's witchcraft.  Well, I just want to know where I'm located.  Though, at least I have Pathfinder.  


But, why can I not float!?

[In steady, maybe even strained penmanship.] Anyone I attacked three days ago? I'm sorry. It was a lapse of judgment and I reacted poorly. No matter what I might've said, I never meant to go after you. Whether or not you forgive me is up to you, but if there's anything I can to to make up for it just say the word.

[Tosh has been having a rubbish time of it lately, and she's pursuing the typical Torchwood solution to such things - but in the middle of a drink, she realises that she's completely forgotten about her Dalek BFF lately. D: And that makes her feel bad, because she doesn't have many friends, and certainly not enough to be ignoring any of them. So she gets some beer from the castle - bottles for her, cans for Caan - and makes her way to his room, knocking on the door]

Caan? You in there? It's Tosh.

Well it seems everyone had a bit of an adventure the other day. Took me a bit to read up on it all. When you ask for something in this place I had no idea it would cut me off from almost everyone like that.

[Jack is in the Hub, going through some odds and ends, but he's dictating to the journal]

Did anyone just ask for something simple and actually get it? Ponies? Please tell me someone asked for a pony and got one.

[Arwen rode up to the Castle a little while earlier on Lumbelarn. His saddlebags are full of provisions and the few things she will need for her journey. She leaves him there, for the moment, and enters the Castle for what she hopes will be the last time. She goes to her room, and writes a quick message in her journal before leaving it there.]

I know I have not been near the Castle of late, instead living in my little wood, but now I plan to journey as a group did once before, beyond the boundaries of the Castle. I do not know when I shall return.

[Having written this, she leaves the journal in her room, and makes her way to the High Lord's chambers.]

[Arwen knocks twice when she gets there. She is carrying two letters, and is dressed in a traveling cloak.]

[Risika is up on the roof... brooding. Cliche, she knows. It's been a while since she last truly fed... yarbarah may work for Lord SaDiablo, but her metabolism is faster, and she's not as strong as she should be. She needs to hunt. She hasn't been because of Draco... but then, he knows what she is. And he knows she doesn't harm. Well. Not here, and not without cause. It's been a while since she killed to teach someone else a lesson, and he doesn't need to know. Resolved in this, she takes the form of a hawk, and flies into town.

She won't be home tonight, Draco.]

[even before she had opened her eyes, the unpleasantly familiar sterile smell of antiseptics and medicine already had clued her in as to where she was. Despite being in another world, her distaste for medical facilities has not subsided in the least. If she's dead, then this is a personalized hell...oh wait. Maybe it isn't so bad after all...]
