| Title: The Messenger Author: Dodger Winslow Genre: Gen Rating: R (language) Word Count: 5,300 Disclaimer: I don't own the boys, I'm just stalking them for a while ... Summary: Aggression and belligerence were John's strong suits; and the simple truth was, regardless of what else this man might be? He was also a fucking idiot. And perhaps an even simpler truth was that John didn’t really give a fuck about fair and unfair any more. Somewhere between finding his wife eviscerated and torched in their own home and now, he’d forgotten how to care who he offended or whether or not they deserved it. All he cared about was keeping what he had left safe. And keeping those boys safe meant keeping anyone or anything he didn’t know, to a moral certainty, presented no threat to them whatsoever back. Pushing them off. Keeping them away. Keeping everyone away … the farther away, the better. He is Here. He is Watching. | |

| Title: unhealed but whole Author: cidercupcakes/ sohotrightnowFandom(s): Supernatural/Buffy the Vampire Slayer Characters/Pairings: John Winchester/Buffy Summers Rating: NC-17 Words: ~4200 Notes: Originally written for kink_bingo, for the prompt "confined/caged". It was supposed to be about 600 words. Kind of got away from me. /o\ Title and verses throughout are from Gregory Djanikian's poem "Children's Hospital, Emergency Room". Immense gratitude to inlovewithnight for both cheerleading and beta-reading. Warning: There's a dream sequence that strays into dub-/non-con territory. Disclaimer: This transformative work uses characters borrowed from shows owned by Joss Whedon, Eric Kripke, and others. No profit (or, indeed, any money at all) is being made off of it. Summary: ( John comes back from the dead. He is bound to someone who's made that trip before. )Fake cut -- goes to the story at my LJ. Crossposted to a couple comms (<pimp> buffy_john!</pimp>), so apologies if you see this several times. | |

| Some of you may know that I started a Wordpress blog where I’ll be updating in the fandom just the same way I’ve updated in my Livejournal. You can check it out here: Jeffrey Dean Morgan Unlimited There’s still a lot of material I have to add. But so far I've added Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s Public Appearances to the Images Gallery and I created a different section for all photos related to Watchmen public appearances. I still have to add video, interviews and a lot more pictures. It's still a work in progress!
I hope to be doing some fun stuff too, so come on by and check it out! I'll still be around LJ, but most of my bloggng will be at Wordpress. Today I added a short piece about Jeffrey Dean Morgan on the set of Invasion of Privacy, including the first picture I’ve seen from the set. Jeffrey Dean Morgan AND cake…!

| Title: No Sex In the Champagne Room Author: reveriaGenre: Het PWP Pairing: John/OFC Rating: NC-17 for sex and language. Duh lol Word Count: 3,585 Disclaimer: The Krip owns the characters, I own the porn. Summary: May 2000. John’s working a job in New London, Connecticut. He knows that establishing a personal relationship with an intended victim of a supernatural serial killer might not be such a good idea, but he’s a Winchester, and since when are they reasonable? Author’s Note: As requested by dodger_winslow, randomstasis and msninacat over at spn_het, here’s Part 1/3 of the story of John and Jolene, set approximately one year before Educating Sammy. To get an idea of Jolene’s performance, watch this video. The songs are Annie Lennox - Why and Orange Blue – She’s Got That Light. ( Chris Rock is overrated ) | |

| >>fourthTITLE: fourthAUTHOR: ultraviolet9aSPOILER: for 4.22 as well. It’s post 4.22, see. GENRE: Gen. CHARACTERS: An assortment of Winchesters, angels and demons. Somewhere there might be a Prophet, too. SUMMARY: Would spoil every little bit. Not AU, by the way. Well, at least not yet. RATING: PG-13 FEEDBACK: Dude… duh. DISCLAIMER: Don’t own. Dammit. The profit I’m making is solely in my head. NOTE: sweet charity for awesomely brilliant animotus. She said she wanted John, she said she wanted scruffy Dean, she said she didn’t care if it was pre or post the Apocalypse. All else was a blank card. I liked that. | Hi all :)
A few things:
- The list of affiliaties communities in the community user-info page has been cleaned up (a couple of new affiliates added, description of the community content added, erased inactive communities).
- New policy re: posting fanfiction. Slash fanfiction can be post unlocked to the community (as opposed to wincest, which has to be posted locked. Any unlocked post will be deleted as soon as I or my co-mod catches it, with the suggestion to repost locked.)* The user-info page has been edited accordingly.
- After the recent conversation, it's apparent most of you either enjoy/don't mind/rely on the community to receive JDM news as well as John Winchester-focused content. I am still toying with the idea of a dedicated once/twice entry for posting JDM news in the comments, but RL is really hectic right now, so that will have to wait for a little while. Similarly, I am all for coordinating/encouraging some discussion about John after the season ends and I have some ideas. Feel free to contribute yours in the comments :)
- for those of you on Dreamwidth, I have opened a Papa Winchester community on Dreamwidth. It's pretty bare right now, but in time...:)
* Personal note: Authors, please remember that writing John Winchester as an unrecognizable, ugly, evi,l torturer, abusive ogre - for the sheer hell of it and the Sam&Dean h/c value - will not gain you much appreciation here. Never censorship, but a lack of comments for sure.
