Apologies to my readers for the double post, but I have a new 14-page minicomic, written by novelist Sara Ryan (and starring one of her characters), available for full viewin' online!

Featuring all kinds of poignant high-school angst.

Go read!

Awesome!

Worth being up late for.

My only retort to the subject matter is GIRLs are CRAZY.

Ouch... that struck an unexpected chord.

It's a beautiful collab, I love the art... especially the "We were always talking," page, the composition is amazing. Thanks for sharing this!

it was a lot of fun searching for "screaming toddler" on Flickr. The facial expressions are just AMAZING.

Maybe it's just the universal angst, but I think I can relate to this comic. This is exactly the kind of thing that happens when a friendship dissolves; it was captured really well.

Aw... I totally read her book when I was 16 and hungering for anything related to lesbianism.. and then I came up to Portland that year and it turned out that Steve came to dinner at the house where I was staying with my girlfriend and her family (with a woman named Terry, I wonder if you Portland cats know her) and gave me a copy of Me and Edith Head. He was totally encouraging and that trip fed my desire both to make comics and to move to Portland. Soon, soon!

To sum it up I'm excited to read this, yay! I feel like my life is so redundant, but maybe my interests are just good at networking with one another. Hah.
