I have been selling on eBay for 10 years now and some of their new and improved recent changes have really been affecting my income. For those of you that don't know..you can no longer leave buyers a negative feedback. Even if they never paid or if they harrassed you through emails..or if they received their stuff and then filed through Paypal to also get their money back. (This happens a LOT with international sales) Now they are changing the way you can pay people on eBay. It's a little ridiculous since Paypal is owned by eBay. So..you get slammed by eBay fees..and then when you get paid for you sales you get slammed by Paypal fees. Now you have no choice!
Faster, more secure checkout experience
Paper payments end this October
Beginning late October 2008, all items listed on eBay.com must be paid for using one of the following approved payment options:
* Direct credit or debit card payment via a merchant credit card account
* PayPal
* ProPay
* Payment on pick-up
Paper payment methods such as checks and money orders will no longer be accepted on eBay.com.
By January 2009, all approved electronic payment methods will be integrated into eBay checkout. For example, buyers will be able to enter their credit card number directly into eBay checkout, and the payment will be routed to the seller's Internet merchant account or to their PayPal account.
Please note that the new payments policy will not apply to the vehicles categories in Motors, capital equipment categories in Business & Industrial, Mature Audiences and Real Estate.
I don't know what you think..but I think that eBay is digging a deep, deep hole and they are about to fling themselves into it.

Well, damn. :\ I'm interested in buying a pair of mermaid earrings on Etsy, but the sellers did not specify the material of the posts. I contacted them and they said that it might contain nickle, but they could switch them out for gold or silver plated ones. I've been searching for a while now, and as far as I know, gold plating can still contain nickle. Soooo, yeah. Looks like I won't be getting them. I tried looking online at Joann's for hypoallergenic earring posts, but no dice. Ah well, I guess it wasn't meant to be...

I got my hair cut today..it's awful. The first thing I thought of when I saw myself in
the mirror was a hedgehog. A damn hedgehog! XD First of all the hairdresser cut it way
too much and she styled it so terrible. I hated to walk out from there cause I felt so
ugly and ridiculous. And I begged that no one would see me, I felt so lucky that there
were just a few people around. Damn I hate this..!

Alright, I am currently aboard the Tahitian Princess which is somewhere between Sitka, Alaska and Vancouver, BC! Seas are rough as f**k and Jon & my mum are both passed out in bed after downing ginger ale & Dramamine. Thankfully I am not prone to sea sickness. Even the crew are sick. :(
The past two weeks have been pretty awesome. One week left, hopefully it will be even better! ;)
I have been keeping busy & distracted which has definitely calmed me down. It's good to finally feel "normal" again. For a few months there I was so stressed it was unreal. I don't know how things will be once I get home again but for now I am okay & feeling good. ;)
I will probably still be AWOL here for a while but just wanted to let everyone know I am alive. ;P

I was getting changed in my dormroom (with my blinds and windows open, haha), and I hear roaring and music, I look outside, like DIRECTLY outside, and Tyra Banks is dancing around on the rooftop like RIGHT across from me, and she saw me for a split second snapping pictures of her like the creeper I am, but wowza!

I also saw Simon Doonan when I was walking down the street, and it was kind of a slow-mo moment, when I saw him and he saw me, and idk if it was a look of "oh her outfit is cute" or "what the hell is she thinking" but still, I'm always THE girl that just misses the celebs, ah uh not these past two days.

DEar journal,
I really should get to working on my homework but i feel the need to write a bit on here first. So much has happened!!
Last week Paul's Japanese cousins came in to visit and stayed up here for 2 days and a night. It was Ami(18), Myuta(22), and there parents. I'm not sure how their parents spell their names because of the different pronoucations i was hearing so i will put those in later. =] Ahhhh i loved the them all though!! And no for any assholes reading this its not because they were 'omg japanese' its because the kids were both hot and just fun to hang out with. The first day they came to sav I met up with them at one of the malls. Ami is soooo fucking cute. Tiny with a cute face with freckles and curly(not super curly but kinda curly) brown hair with natural looking highlights. She's very earthy looking and is the first girl i've met that can pull off baggy overalls. She can speak english pretty well although she didn't seem confident. and the most said word as deffinitlly sugoi. Her brother Myuta was soooo handsome. =] tall for a Japanese guy, medium brown hair and just cuteeeee hhahahah He didn't speak much english but picked it up rather quickly while here. I wish I had gottten to speak with him more but I was honestly too scared to speak to him in Japanese for fear all totally messing up. The first day at the mall was kinda boring. That night though was quite fun!
when we got back to pauls house everyone seemed bored so I suggested that we try playing rockband. Ami had gone out for a min with her mom so Myuta started off playing first. He learned very quickly on Rockband. He was good on the drums but great on the quitar by the time we stopped playing. When ami came back we all started playing ahahah it was soo much fun. Trying to find songs that they would know and such. =] Afterwards we started playing on the wii since they do not have one at their home. Smashbrothers was up first and the only two people winning were paul and myuta. =[ we girls were just not that good. aahahha and then wii sports! it was so funny. The only thing I did well in was bowling. although i love wii bowling ahahha. it was jut a fun night. even with the somewhat language barriers we found ways to communicate and have a really good time.
Their parents also had fun that night, and went out drinking with paul's. they all came back toasted. ahahh and Ami and myuta's dad had to say (in reference of paul as the babyface and directed towards me)"You like babyfaccceeee??" (his wife)"Of course she does" (back to their dad)"NONONOOOOOooo you LOVEEEEEEEEEE babyfaceee!!" ahahahh he was a very hillarious guy in general. one of those guys that doesn't talk much but when he does its always a joke. I really think that those kids have a great home life. =] The next day had more shopping although this time it wasn't boring. And a very sad for me good bye. They were soo much fun to hang out with. just to sit back and play video games and such. =[ BAhh and saddly i have no pictures with the dyeing of my camera battery and the lostness of my charger =[ They're supposed to be sending back some pictures. I really hope sooooo.
My aunts wedding was that sat. Friday morning I drove all the way to tallehasse wih my mom and my dog. It was one of the most stressful trips I have ever taken. My aunt judy is very uptight. and i guess thats why i get stressed around her. plus when i got their i had to stand out front of her house and wait for everyone to say hello to my mom and forget about me out side for 5 min while i'm holding onto my dog since she swears that she'll fight with her dogs. finally she comes out and goes "oooo jessie!!! so nice to see you~ YOu ARE TAKING THOSE OUT TOMORROW RIGHT????!" in reference to my lip rings. not a nice way to greet someone who drove over 5hours just to come to your wedding. Don't get me worng i love my aunt but she can be a bitch. I loveeee my aunt betty though and my cousins!!!!
gahhhh my cousins chris and holly(betty's children) were there along with holly's children, Brennan, nolan, mason, and reagan. I love those little boys. soo cute and soo much fun and so much energy. I have much more to say on them but i really got to get this homework done, so i'll end with wedgy wars. =] thats how cool my cousins are ahhaha.

Oh, and on Sunday I was preoccupied with marathoning Gurren Lagann. Again. WHY DO I DO THIS TO MYSELF?! BAAAAAWWWW~! Damn I love this series, but the end always puts me in this...mood. This laughing/sobbing "I love the world but I'm also sad and I need fanfic now" mood. You guys know what I'm talking about.
Also, does anyone have the Gurren Lagann OST? I need it (have needed it for a while), but I cannot find a torrent. Zee is displeased. >/
