Ash/Gary (Satoshi/Shigeru) Support

I...finally...finished. *collapses* After months of work, several gray hairs, and about a third of my sanity gone. And a HUGE hug to the one who helped me beta this..you know who you are ^_^

Now that that's out there, I'd like to put out this: Is anyone going? If so, what as? There's only one Pokemon Photo Shoot so far, but someone else is also trying to pull off a huge Pokemon SNAP! event, where people either hide around the convention dressed as Pokemon characters and another group walks around with cameras to 'SNAP' them.

But here's my woe: I need fanservice. Like, bad.

I never find a Gary each year, and it is MUY sad. :/ At least as Gary THIS year, I'll have my pick of the litter, (there are always about twenty Ash Ketchems), but it'd be nice for MaidCafe!Ash to get some good ol' fanservice time, too.

I realize this place hasn't been updated for a little while, but I'm really hoping someone'll hear my call and do a Superman save for me. I need it.

I have this fic that I've been working on for a little over a month now. It's considerably darker than my first two, and I started out with a good idea of where I wanted it to go, but then I kind of lost it. And I don't want to lose it completely, because it means too much to me.

So...I guess what I'm looking for is encouragement, and ideas, and just feedback in general. I'm still sort of a newbie at writing fanfics, and this piece is by far the darkest and most serious that I've written.

Good. Let me tell you how this is going to work.

Below this message will be a link to a fic that I have written, Palletshipping of course. You read it and, here's the challenge, you guess what world it's based off of. Let me explain what I mean.

Pokemon is one world. Let's say I took the main storyline of something like... Code Geass and I changed things just enough so that I could replace the characters of Code Geass with the characters of Pokemon. The main storyling would be the same, but everything else would be different.

That's what did, but I didn't use Code Geass. You get to guess which world I'm took the main storyline from. Give it a shot! It'll be fun!

What if you win, you ask? Well... You get the joy of knowing that you're a genuis! And I'll give cookies. How about that? Well, if that's good enough, then enjoy the challenge!!!

Heeeeey palletshipers! I've recently rediscovered Pokemon, and so, naturally, I went searching for fic! Goodfic is sorely lacking, but hey, it's Pokemon, that's no real surprise. ANYWAY, I'm here with a question -

While I adore Gary/Ash in all their rival glory, I'm also actually a big fan of Red/Green (or Red/Blue, depending on which version you're reading). Since they are essentially the manga/game equivalent of Ash and Gary, I was wondering if it would be okay to post fic of them here? Pretty, pretty please? A fic idea has been tingling in the back of my mind, but other than here, there's no real place to post it. (Awwww, tear.)

If not, that's cool. And if this has been asked before, sorry. ^^;;

Anyhow, since I'm here, are there any other Red/Green shippers around? Those two are awesome. (Actually, I think they're a little cooler than Ash and Gary... but shhh!) I've read all of the Pokemon Adventures/Special manga that I can find (which is up to near the end of the Emerald chapter), and they remain consistently awesome whenever they show up. There is so much pairing fun in those manga. I also like Gold/Silver and Ruby/Sapphire. Shipping rivals is so cute and easy! I also kind of like Red/Green/Blue OT3-ness and I have a soft spot in my heart for Red/Yellow (Yellow is such a sweetie-pie, though I think Ruby is my favorite character so far - he's hilarious!)

Hey, I was wondering if anyone here remember reading a fanfic called "Life Goes On"? It had a pretty basic storyline; Ash and Gary are older, into their late teens at least (it mentions Ash driving, so old enough for that at least). Professor Oak has just passed away, and Ash tries to help Gary cope. It's not particularly Palletshippy (no kissing or anything), but it was a very sweet and well-written piece of work, and the website I first found it at appears to no longer exist. Ring any bells, folks?

Whoo!! Another fic, but this isn't a oneshot. It's not even a drabble. Yes! That's right!! It is the begining of a multi-chapter fic! I'm sure you got that from the title though. Yeah, I'm really excited about this fic. I'm not even done planning it out yet, but I just had to get this chapter out. I hope you all like this!

This is completely irrelevant but I put a palletshipping image for each song on my Panic! At the Disco playlist. I was surprised the songs fit the idea pretty well. The one song from P!ATD that could definitely be palletshippy would have to be But It's Better If You Do.

Alright...here's another fanfic from me. I really loved working on this one, even though at times it was a lot like slogging through the mud. It's considerably longer than my first ficlet, so I'm likewise considerably proud of it.
