Paire Icontest
Welcome to Paire Icontest! This community focuses on the relationship of Peter Petrelli and Claire Bennet (also known as Paire) from Heroes. Each week, a new prompt is set up to challenge icon makers. When each challenge ends, the top three and Mod's Choice (sometimes a special category is given) are awarded with a nifty banner. Then at the end of each month, the first place icons are entered in an Icon of the Month poll. The winning icon gets be the community's default icon until the next IOTM poll.
Rules
1. If you are not a Paire fan, this is not the place for you.
2. You can any images, unless told told otherwise.
3. Icons must fit LJ standards (100x100 and 40kbs or less).
4. Icons must be made specifically for the challenge. Don't post them anywhere else until voting is over.
5. All effects, such as lights, stock, text, textures, even animation are totally allowed.
6. You cannot enter more than four icons per challenge.
7. Don't follow tutorials too closely and don't copy anyone else's work. Try to stay original. Also, the icons must be made entirely from scratch! All bases and manips must be made by you.
8. Be sure to read the rules for each challenge as they might change from time to time.
9. Don't enter variations of the same icon. Meaning, two icons that are exactly the same except one has text and the other one doesn't.
10. Most importantly, have fun! And don't be afraid to take risks. Try new and unique things with your icons.

**Do not use anyone's icons without permission.

Voting and Schedule
1. Don't vote for yourself.
2. Anyone can vote and you can tell your friends to vote, but DON'T tell them which icons are yours.
3. Anonymous votes will be ignored.

Challenge go for eight days, voting usually lasts two days.

Friday: Challenge posted.
Tuesday: Mid-week reminder.
Next Friday: Challenge closed. Voting posted.
Sunday: Winners announced.
