Most other things related to James/Sirius is welcome. It's up to you to use your common sense with what's on and off topic. Posts are moderated to keep spam and non-J/S stuff to a minimum. If you're unsure or have any questions, contact the admin or moderators - we'll be more than happy to help out. You can repost something that's deleted, but please edit it to make sure it follows the rules first. Fics/art that aren't obviously shippy are also welcome, as long as the main characters are James and Sirius.

If your RPG centres around James & Sirius, then you may plug it here, however, bear in mind not everyone wants to see massive banners clogging up their friends pages. There are newsletters and other communities for general RPG advertising. We recommend you post there instead.

Some basic ground rules are:

• No netspeak, l337, Martian or anything except Standard English. If you want to post in German/Elvish/Spanish/etc then I'm sure there are other communities you can find. The odd abbreviation is fine though.


• Check through your posts to make sure there aren't too many typos. LiveJournal's update page offers the option to spell-check before posting. This function is highly recommended.


• Please preview your post before submitting to make sure your links or lj-cut tags are working.


• Fics should at least be checked through by you and spellchecked, even if you don't have a beta reader.


• All material should be given a rating which can be clearly seen. If it's NC-17, please label it as so in the subject, so when stored in the memories people are warned.


• Fics over 150 words should be posted behind the cut tag.


• NC-17 stuff should be posted behind the cut tag.


• Regardless of rating, art should be posted behind the cut tag.


• You should respect the views of others. We've been on the internet long enough to have seen too many flame wars and ridiculous things like that.

When posting either a fic or art include: title, rating, author/artist and summary or comments. Please state if you appreciate constructive criticism, it makes life easier for reviewers if they know they're not going to piss you off. However, even if you don't say anything, it doesn't mean you won't get it!

If you read/see something you like (or even if you aren't so keen but just have something to point out...) then we encourage you to comment on it. To most authors, feedback is nectar and they really appreciate it, no matter how short the feedback is. :)

If you think something is inappropriate then contact the admin or mods, giving me a link and saying why you think so (preferably stating how it breaks the rules, not that you just don't like it) and I'll judge whether it is or not.
