my apologies, everyone - i've been so busy this last week that I've totally neglected this challenge :(

Anyway, its being extended by another week, so go ahead and get some more entries in!

I hope this all makes sense... I'm writing this at 1am while unable to sleep, so if I confuse you, let me know and I'll try to clarify at a more godly hour...

Don't be afraid to ask questions. I'm trying to encourage people to try new things here, so if you want to try something but arent sure its allowed, ASK, don't just let your idea go.

Challenge 76 - Free-for-all! / pushing the boundaries

You may create any kind of icon you like, following any theme you choose, provided it meets all the rules. This means you can use lyrics, quotes, textures, colouring, any images, crops, styles etc you feel like.

Be creative. There will be special awards related to the creativity of your theme choices, so be as original and daring as you can. There will not be a 'most creative and unique' award, because I expect all entries to be extraordinarily creative and unique.

Do something wild. Do something different. Above all, damnit, have FUN.

-You may enter up only three [3] icons.
-Anakin and Padme must be the focus of the icon in some way.
-You can add text, brushes, etc.
-You cannot animate
-Entries must be of lj standard (100x100 'or smaller', 40 kb)
-Don't put your username in the file name. (using lj links violates this rule. Host your entries elsewhere please)
-You MUST make a new icon. Trust me I will know if you don't. I'm a icon addict. I see all of them ;)

DO NOT POST YOUR ICON ANYWHERE UNTIL THE CONTEST IS OVER.
This includes using it yourself. DON'T DO IT. If you are caught doing it you will be disqualified and possible ban from the community.

-Make sure you check the rules before entering, any submission that doesn't follow the rules will not be entered.

-Deadline: Monday July 14th 21st at 11pm PST. Late entries will not be accepted.

Hey everyone! Have I apologized for leaving the last post up too long? If not I really am sorry. You know how life gets. Anyway here's a few community updates.

I flushed out most of the dead communities. We have three new ones.

I really hope you all sign up for the rumble (and say I sent you teehee). Its like a lims, but none of that voting off or negative comments aspect. Its a point system and looks really interesting. ^_^ Its just starting out too.

Banner Maker
Since I plan to have four moderators, I like the idea of having four banner makers as well. We have laury_kos and sith_romantic at the moment. They're doing a lovely job, but I know life can get pretty hectic. ^_^ So having a two more would be great as well.
