Swim and Sushi Meet Pushed Back
Due to a massive oversight (read: i have teh dum), I'm moving the Swim and Sushi meet back a weekend. I failed to realize that FA:U was happening the very same weekend which was preventing a lot of people (read: everyone) from coming. All the rest is the same except for the date, which has been moved to August 9th.
WHAT: Central PA Swim & Sushi Meet! Come to Koebi's place for swimming and hanging out and snack, then cart out for movie and sushi/hibachi.
WHEN: August 9th, 2008, starting at 1:PM
WHERE: Koebi's place for swimming and snacks at 1:00, Regal Cinemas for a movie (to be decided) around 5:00, then after the movie, to Tokyo Diner for sushi or hibachi. After dinner, back to Koebi's for late-night hanging out by the pool. If anyone needs to crash, I have space at my place for a couple furs, but PLEASE let me know beforehand.
Addresses: Koebi's Place- 165 Leedy Road, Spring Grove, PA 17362
Regal Cinemas- 1800 Loucks Rd, York, PA 17408
Tokyo Diner- 2300 E Market St, York, PA
Bring a swimsuit/trunks for swimming, and snacks/drinks to share by the pool. For Tokyo Diner, I can personally vouch for, along with a couple other PA furs, how awesome the sushi is here. All made to order; there is a sushi bar as well as hibachi tables if that's what people want to go for. A tad on the expensive side, the hibachi dishes are around $12-$17 depending on what you get. Also, they have ALL YOU CAN EAT SUSHI. I highly recommend this. It's $10 to join their "Royal Club" for a year, which nets you a membership card that gives you the choice of all you can eat sushi for $25, or %15 off your bill if you don't go for sushi. The staff are friendly (they know me by face, now, and I'm usually greeted with 'oh no, it's you!' and a big thank you then I bring a bunch fo friends in), and the restaurant itself is very nicely decorated.
We haven't decided on a movie yet. If anyone has any suggestions, let us know so we can get a vote for what everyone wants to see.
RSVP here if you can. If you need to get a hold of me to RSVP or get directions (I do kinida live up in the middlle of nowhere) hit me up on aim (Yahoo and AIM are both 'koebimoonlight'), or give me a call at 717-451-1065. Pleeease, if you call, leave a message, especially if I don't have your number in my phone. XD
