Community Profile

The purpose of this community is for everyone to share Australian and New Zealand music. I will not be held responsible for copyright infringements. I know that some people have problems finding some songs in mp3 format, or there's rare songs that you just can't find on CD, etc. A lot of people can't rip CDs for some reason or another and would like copies of their CDs on their computers -- that's the purpose of this. If you don't own the CD and are asking for mp3s here, that's your choice not mine. I can't know.



All music featured here must be from artists from Australia and/or New Zealand.

No e-drama. Any kind of drama and this will result in you being banned.

Please try and recommend this community to friends and fellow music lovers. The more members we have, the more selection we have.

If you have more than 2 requests/recommendations, please LJ-cut.

DO NOT POST ABOUT GIGS. If you really want to post about a gig, email me about it first and make sure you include links to uploaded songs in the entry. Thanks. Note: if you post about gigs without my consent, the posts will be deleted. If you continue to do this you will be banned.

If you would like to support the bands and artists, please buy their music! Links to sites where you can buy singles and albums are below.

Have fun and try and share as often as you can. There is no limit to the number of posts you can have per day! Also, please try and request/recommend every once and a while. And if you are taking a rec or even someone else's request, please leave a comment.



Requesting and Answering Requests

You may request any number of songs but if it is a long list, put it under an lj-cut. Make sure to put the artist and song titles. When answering requests, post the link to the song that you have uploaded and which song it is if the person has requested multiple ones.

Posting Playlists

Make sure you upload every file, then link all the files in your post. You do this with the code ARTIST NAME - SONG NAME or another way, as long as you include the artist and song title.

This is an example of how to upload music. You may use this format if you'd like to, because it gives a good example of what the other person will be downloading. Just simply copy and paste the following:

Under "Notes", you may include what you like about the song and why you like it. Under "Lyrics", you may post a link to a website with the lyrics. "Here" is the link where the song is.
