The Routine:
This community is dedicated to discussion of the HBO series “Oz.” I've now opened it up to discussion of *anything* Oz related, including discussion of fanfic and other shows/movies with Oz actors.
Here, however, are things this community is still *not* for:
1. Announcements. About anything. (The best place for that is![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif)
oz_rapsheet.)
2. Fanfic posting. (Although the fic itself shouldn't be posted there, announcements about fanfic can be posted atoz_rapsheet.)
3. Icons/graphics. (oz_rapsheet is great for announcements about those, too.)
Any and all Oz-related discussion, though, is encouraged.
Spoilers: I think that requiring everyone in the community to stick to a hard and fast rule about spoilers would be problematic, especially since the series is a done deal and many people are going to be inclined to use examples and scenes from all seasons in the course of a given discussion. Still, I would encourage people to try to be considerate and to use cut tags in original posts, when appropriate. If an original post is excessively long, people would probably appreciate cut tags anyway—and if that original post contains a discussion of (say) every shocking thing that happens in season 6, there are people who haven’t seen that season who will probably be even more appreciative.
This forum is open to anyone who wants to discuss Oz; I really don’t want to have to make it into a private community. No show-related topics are off-limits—stir up as much controversy as you want, as long as you’re willing to remain civil about it. Debate is great; just please try not to get nasty or personal.
