Hello everyone.
I'm here to request anything by THE MODS, 'cause I've been searching anywhere and nothing, so I'm wondering if somebody could help me with this.
Any help will be appreciated and sorry, no bribes .__.
Thanks in advance :D

I recently put up a ebay auction for a loudness cd lot, happy bidding!

| ★ Non-AU, real-time J-Rock roleplaying game. ★ Japanese muses only, but residents are allowed. ★ Old school preferred with limited exceptions. ★ No uber. ★ Be prepared to write! Do we have your attention? Okay, let's launch into the basics. Yes, you read correctly. Our motif is old-school; we would rather have the fine wine than the $5.99 box from the gas station that was packed last week. But what about the exceptions? Well, you'll need someone who's on the list. Your muse will need to be able to prove that they're buddies with someone who is old school, whether it be through personal friendship or professional connection. Keep in mind, however, that this may not necessarily get them in if we really feel that they won't fit in the community. There are plenty of other places that house other nationalities and that provide a medium that is uber-friendly, so please don't come here looking for either of these things. No uber covers everything from breaking the fourth wall to discussing things with other muses that they have no way of knowing. We don't want to see your muse talking about muns, or about other faces, or anything else. You're in character, all the time. Novel-style, third person paragraph posts through AIM are going to be the dominant choice of interaction here. IMing and commenting are encouraged, but scenes will be what others will expect of you. If you're not playing reasonably often, you may not be counted as active and your muse might lose his or her spot, so bear that in mind. We used to be hosted on GreatestJournal and moved around a lot. Finally, we've come to settle here at LJ, so please join us for some good, old-fashioned fun. |
I randomly discovered the singers Chage and Aska on Youtube, and I was wondering if anyone had any music of theirs that they would be willing to upload? I especially liked the song "something there". I would be eternally grateful!
Also, a good friend of mine went to San Francisco recently, and knowing my love of old school music brought me this great complilation CD. I haven't really heard of any of the people on the CD, but most of the songs are great! So I thought I would share it with you guys, since you're always sharing with me! :)

Sawada Kenji introduction post (with best album & several videos up for download)
As already anticipated some entry of mine ago, I finally made a community about Japanese POP from the 60s-70s-80s:
kayoukyoku. I would be happy if whoever's interested in Showa pop joined and shared :D
I talked my writer into going to one of Tusk's shows the other week. You can read about it here.

This community has been slowing down a bit lately, huh? I'll help move it along a bit, I suppose.
Here is the discography of the (excellent) 80s synth-pop/New Wave band, Ippu Do. They have worked with the band Japan, Buck-Tick, Sandii and Melon, among others. Buck-Tick have even listed their NORMAL album as a big influence!
They are mainly known for their hit "Sumire September Love", but only got popular in Japan and the UK.
What else can I say? I just really love Ippu Do.
( Click for 4 studio albums, 1 live album, 1 best-of )
I will be uploading Masami Tsuchiya, Ippu Do's guitarist and vocalist, because in my opinion his solo works are just as stunning as Ippu Do.
Enjoy!
