Ok, people, I give in. A lot of you asked me to keep this community so they can still access the resources and tutorials they have bookmarked.
It only serves as an archive, and is "as is", means I won't fix any images and links that don't work.

There's been a lot of talk lately about what is elite, what are good or creative icons, how we perceive ourselves as icon makers.
We know how we perceive ourselves, but most often not how others think about us. Icon memes often don't have the desired effect because people are too busy or lazy for elaborate comments, especially when they have to look for and post icons.
Let's try this differently, quick and dirty.

Comment with your name and icon community. People will reply and judge you on the following:

1. Overall quality (0=awful, 10=stellar)
2. Creativity (0=none, 10=extremely creative)
3. Own style (0=none, 10=very distinctive)
4. Short concrit or praise

If you'd like to judge someone, simply comment like this:

Comments need to be anonymous, no wank!
Anonymous comments will hopefully encourage people to be honest. Don't whine if your results don't turn out the way you'd like.

Some of you may have noticed that I still owe about a third of the request icons.
It's been four months and I don't want to lie about it, what's left are mostly images I absolutely cannot work with. The least I can do is being honest and admit these most probably will not get done, because I hate posting icons I wouldn't use myself.
If you're still interested, I will do smaller request posts to make up for it, but only with subjects I can work with (which is still a lot).
