    Holiday Innsmouth Shirts – reorder
    Hi All,

I'm placing another order for the Holiday Innsmouth T-Shirts; they were really popular! I'm going to have a table at the Totally Normal Event where I will be selling Labyrinth-inspired wearable masks, artwork, and these lovely shirts.

If you're interested and have a large amount of shirts you'd like, or a specific size, please post a comment here to let me know. Or if you're not going to make it to the TNE and would like to order a shirt anyway, feel free to contact me!

If you would like to make Allah cry, chant mantras and do breath-counting exercises. Any polysyllabic mantra chanted outloud or within one's mind, constantly, will be fit for this purpose.

The truth, a little 42 late
Turns my evil sister has been lying a little. She is a Jihad Goddess. Supports no religion but Jihad. Captain Clark is some Saudi prince. 23 is an unlucky number, and 17 lucky, but only just. She did not start Discordian religion, she stole it from me and from Universal Reason. She does not like Zen-buddhists, she kills them in Tibet for bringing enlightenment into this world.

In short, do not trust Eris.

if we tell them that it is going to be a party floor, and therefore loud
then when they buy a room, they choose 'loud' the same way you would
    say "two beds."
if they have two beds, they can't complain
    they said they wanted two beds;
so if they ask for loud
i think we can arrange that, sir.

    yes, things.

i'm pretty sure all of this is on the website. in fact, i have been assured that all of this is on the website.

    so.

Shuttle: We will have shuttles from the Edison train station to the Expo Center, running February 10th at 11:30am, 2:30pm & 5pm.

Afterparties: All of the known afterparties are at the Marriott, not the Holiday Inn. afterparties include, um. one sec, i have to copy and paste.

Saloncon, Webcomics, Wicked Games, The Wrong Show, "Public" & Other Playparties

yeah. other stuff may happen at the Holiday Inn, but that stuff is happening at the Marriott.

volunteering: i love volunteers. love love love. i feed them, i give them booze, i in some cases kiss them. (that is not a promise. i'm not a kissing booth for this event). if you are interested in volunteering (basically, we need like threeish things: flow (glorified stagehand who doesn't have to wear black (but probably chooses to) and who gets to not be stagehanding when they are not needed)
security (stationary people to peacetie stuff and watch for wristbands at the doors and keep track of how many people we have, and roving people to make sure people have peaceties and wristbands and are not drinking alcohol and do not have gun-shaped things and are generally not being stupid)
and registration/info booth (uh. you do registration. and you answer questions at the info booth. and yeah.)

if you want to volunteer, email applesticker at gmail

Booze: if you want in on the booze order, i need to know by noon on friday. well, actually, jeff needs to know. jeffmach at runningwatermusic dot com

    and, um.

    i think that's everything.

well, not everything-everything, just everything i was planning to say when i started typing this.

okay, posting now. and crossposting to my own lj. and tying to some pigeons.

it might help if they were messenger pigeons, not just filthy beasts from the parking deck.

Robert Anton Wilson needs our help..
    http://www.rushkoff.com/2006/10/robert-anton-wilson-needs-our-help.php

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Anton_Wilson

http://www.rawilson.com/ (you can confirm it here.. although there is no mention of needing 'rent'/housing money there.)

A quote from [info]catbirdgirl summing it up:

"He's very ill, and may die soon. He is being cared for by friends and family, and his post-polio syndrome is terrible. I believe he may be being evicted from his home. In case you don't know who he is, he is the author of "The Illuminatus Trilogy" and many other free-wheeling and free thinking books. While not a huge fan, I totally recognize his long-term influence. And I don't believe anyone should die penniless, in pain, and without resources."

A quote from the Oct 4th update on rawilson.com: "Bob is not one for the begging bowl. He would rather that fans wishing to help out simply buy his wares. But his friends, understanding the potential financial strain of Bob's needs, set up the Friends of Robert Anton Wilson relief fund" So if you don't want to just shuffle off your $$ it may be great time/excuse to go buy that RAW book or other goodies you have been interested in but have put off doing.. (and do so through rawilson.com so he gets any of the referral credit/etc. dollars such as

...doesn't exist, per se, because we've already done the final one, right?

    ...but...

    ...but...

This event I'm planning? In November? Is going to be highly like an Overnight. Some changes. Some differences. But yes, indeed.

    There will be some resurrection.

    Last Chance Holiday Bash

Hey! This is Shari/Sharmel. I posted about my Last Chance Holiday Bash last year, and I hope those who came had an awesome time. This year, it's gonna be even more awesome, with a toy party, dinner, and bash.......This Saturday January 21st, 2006!
It begins with a Fantasia Toy Sale Party this Saturday at my house in Bloomfield at 5 pm for women only. There is a co-ed dinner and party afterwards, starting round 8 and going till we pass out/leave/fall asleep. (i.e. men are welcome as soon as the toy party hostess leaves.) So if you arent busy this Saturday, come on by and celebrate the holidays one more time! Feel free to bring food, drinks, and a gift for the 5$ gift exchange.
If you'd like to come, drop me your email here, and I will send you an invite.
P.S. There was going to be a women's clothing exchange around 2-3 pm.....but I havent gotten much intrest, yet? lemme know if you'd like to participate, and maybe it will happen!
P.P.S. I got permission from the moderator before posting this:)

Summer's here, and time is right for dancin' in the streets
So you know that freak who gives everyone poetry for Xmas/Kwanzaa/Yule/Chanukah/et al?

    That's me.

Do you know the disadvantage of that?

I didn't figure out that we should really, really be suggesting tickets to the Wicked Winter Renaissance Faire as holiday gifts until, well, now.

    So! Buy tickets!.

Just one problem, of course. The observant among you might be noticing that we don't ship tickets. Which makes them a lousy present.

Ah! We've thought of a solution! If you buy a ticket, we will customize, and make available for download, an awesome certificate of purchase, lovingly customized to your specs. (That's a demo version, created by the mighty [info]daemionfox - the actual version may be a bit fancier.)

Go for it! What have you got to lose? Of course they want this, not a new Xbox.
