Okay, I'm embarrassed to say I just stumbled upon this community (but I shall pimp it on the 'morrow), but I did. Definitely needed -- Book doesn't get near enough love.

Anyways, beyond Preacher's Prayer which was already so kindly recced by noandwhere, I have done a series of Book vignettes for joss100. Sadly, I've yet to finish the table due to grad school and RL becoming increasingly insistent of my attention, but oh well.

Anyways, for those who might not have seen them, the ones I've done are linked to this table. Or you can search around my fic journal frogs_fics, but I'm sadly failing on organization and they are actually split between a couple of different tags. All are book centric, but the ratings range from teen to mature, so pay attention to the ratings if you're squeamish.

Summary: I wrote this for a creative writing class (hence the length). While I never use the name Book, it is Book's back-story that I'm describing. (There were a number of reasons for this, but mainly because an Operative should be nameless.) All the other characters are mine. I was hoping I would've had more time to tweak it... but well, it's election season and I'm happy with it.
