Hello Kitty bed room & Studio
As I'm packing up my possessions to move, I can't help but wish I took more photos of my room.



I live in Central NY. I'm in the process of moving to Manhattan to attend the School Of Visual Arts in the fall.
These are some older photos of bits & pieces of my room...

I'm slightly embarassed about these photos. These were from when I first started moving in & everything was cluttered onto shelves..I later built new shelves & re-arranged the room, it didn't looks so messy in the end...

I made the curtains, they match the material of the comforter.
There is also a crafting & pen paling desk area but i failed to take any photos of it.





For a while I split a studio in the house with my boyfriend. This was my section of the studio.

In January we broke up and drew a line down the house via "I Love Lucy".
I moved my studio to another part of the house...

As I said.. I wish I took more photos before I packed everything up, these are few and not very good. I re-arranged the studio and put up cute red shelves that looked so nice!

and on a final note, a hello from my baby kitty...
She loves to lay on my projects....

I have tried so hard to stop purchasing/ hoarding sanrio merchandise but it's nearly impossible to resist. I've been obsessed since childhood. There is so much more I never took photos of. I hope you share photos of your HK room/apt when it is done!

I was actually lucky enough to go to Sanrio Puroland in Tokyo, talk about temptation! I don't know that I'll ever really stop collecting. I will definitely be posting pictures when I'm all done. (Right now they're all in storage while we're between places.)

it was a 7 year on/off relationship so we are able to maintain friendship.... moving wasn't feasible being that i was in school and transferring/moving in several months..

i don't exactly recomend it to anyone, it's not the easiest thing to do.

i painted both of them.

the red chair has early 1900's blue prints for columns decoupaged on it
the yellow chair has a red star on it (but that was a spray painting accident).

OHMYGOODNESS!!! that brown bear on the left in the fifth picture just caused a massive rush of childhood memories to infect my brain. what are those bears called? and where did you get him? ah. I had the big pink, white, and brown one and the baby ones too!! I lost them when we moved to the States though. :( you take care of him!!

i have 3 of them ♥
they are all from childhood so i don't know where i obtained them
i think they are called "gund" bears
that particular one is named mr. snuffels and he & i are best friends for life

I love all the different colors of your stuff in your studio. The red table with the record player is absolutely wonderful :) and the yellow chair with the flaking paint. I love how you use all different kinds of furniture and things and made it into one whole :)

You have both precious miseries dolls!! (A friend of mine designed them.)

We have the same computer.

I love the painting by Seth.

The bunny over the sewing machine is kind of creepy. It makes me draw conclusions about sewing animal skins. (Which is fine if that doesn't bother you.)
