l'm looking for something similar to the above accent pillow as a comforter/bedding. A nice tiffany blue or aqua blue with a large floral pattern but l don't want too much of the blue. Like the accent pillow l'd love some white or even very little of the chocolate colors so that the blue doesn't overpower my room. Anyone know where l could find something similar but priced reasonably? Sorry if the cut doesn't work... new to tihs. ( More under the cut )

I'm Monica, 21 years old and currently living in Caracas, Venezuela. My room is in need of some work but it's nearly done =D The walls need to be painted (they will be a light blue/turquoise) and then add some artwork (maybe my own!). ( come on in )

Hello all! I'll be making a PROPER post here soon, but in the mean time, I have a question...Where are your favorite places to get comforter covers?I've tried Ikea, eBay & Target and I'm not wowed.Any suggestions? I'd prefer to not spend over $80 I love damask, retro florals, bold design and anything that isn't too kiddy looking :DSort of like the things on Brocade Home, only, you know, not 200 bucks. PS- I have a Full bed. Queen sized is definitely do-able.

Today I got notified that I will be starting at a school for media design in November. As you can see I presently don't have a desk, seeing as I haven't been attending any school for over a year. I don't really want to rearrange my room again as I really love it the way it looks now. Does anyone have an idea where I could put a desk or can think of an alternative that doesn't take up a lot of space? I just basically need a proper place, that is not my piano or bed, where I can sit with my laptop and design. Thanks in advance.

So, I was wondering. I'm moving into a new room, and I want to decorate it in a sort of classic carnival theme. And when I say classic, I mean late 1800s/early 1900s carnivals. Any suggestions on decor, color themes, lighting, etc? Thaaanks in advance!

I'm Emma, 19 from the UK. I live in Kent sometimes and London most of the time for University, where I am studying Biochemistry with Forensic Science. After nearly a year of decorating, I've finally finished my bedroom at my parents' house in Kent. There are a couple of finishing touches that still need to be done but overall it's finished and I am so pleased. I have literally been in the proceeds of doing it since this time last year because I spend so much time living elsewhere whilst I'm studying and that is a long time. There are a lot of photographs under the cut. ( playing house in the ruins of us )

I am trying to decide which duvet cover to buy... It's either this one... ( or... )

I've made up a list of things I'm going to need to pack/buy for my dorm room in the fall, and I want your opinions on it - it's basically a collective list from advice I've found everywhere (here on lj, websites etc). Let me know if you think some of the things I have shouldn't be on the list, or if I'm missing something. P.S. This isn't clothing, school supplies, food, personal items or anything, just basic dorm room stuff - furniture and bedding and stuff.
