THE HILLS ARE ALIVE with the Sound of Mu~sic~
Well, I went through the effort of typing this up this morning so here it is I guess... Oh, and I wrote the whole thing out html version so let's see whether or not the faces work... *sigh* I am completely and utterly failing at writing in my livejournal daily at this point. Heck, it’s taking a huge amount of effort not to just fall asleep at my computer right now as I type this not connected to the internet… So much to do so little time >.< I think I’m going to stay on campus today until I finish my hw so that I will hopefully be less distracted than I am at home. Regardless of when I get home however I need to immediately go and buy more gas for the car because I am almost out x.X Oh, so I guess I should actually talk about what I’ve been up to xP This morning was TERRIBLE D:< It took an eternity to get to Stanford. At first I thought it was because I left five minutes later than I normally do but as I found out at the end of the traffic it was a motorcycle accident -_- I’m sorry for the person involved but seriously, I don’t think motorcycles are a good idea >.> So basically I wound up getting on campus twenty minutes later than I normally do which was way way waaaaay not cool. After that I went to the café close to the parking lot I park in and started typing. I could still make it to class, but I’m not going today >.> I’ve been way too tired and have been falling asleep every single day. I mean, I was used to that at Wellesley, but I only have one class here and I want to be able to get my stupid work done so today I am not going to go to class and I am just going to study/do my homework. It’s going pretty well so far? I’ve already read one of the two possible labs I have for today and once I finish typing this, my mind should be clear enough for me to do my homework. I’ll still go to lab and discussion of course and Ming Yang goes over everything that we go over in lecture so I should be okay… I can’t believe that class will already be over next week. So there are a variety of things on my mind and I would like to cover all of them x.X Yeah I know, if I could post regularly with what’s on my mind then things would be much clearer for me overall but unfortunately I don’t which just makes me even more easily distracted than I usually am… But this is just the warning that this entry is going to be super super long. I will do my best to label things with appropriate lj-cuts but… ( Sunday Night Dreams )So I guess I get to move onto yesterday then. [ mood|  giddy] [ music| Aaron Copland - Appalachian Springs ] BACK FROM KANSAS CITY! I guess not many people knew I was leaving, but... I DIGRESS. It was a great time. Sensei is an awesome hostess and I am soooo grateful for all of her hospitality. ♥♥♥ Thank you sensei~~~! I also ate too much. *pinches stomach* So. Japan in two weeks. What the flip. I'm a nervous wreck but I'm good at hiding it. Last week of work this week, I don't know how in the world that is going to go, but I guess I'll find out. Too much other stuff happening. It is thosre little things
For those who know what's going on in my life, thank you so much for the support. With my husband being in jail (if you want to know why, just PM me, I'll explain everything) and me being in the outside world you learn to appreciate the little things in life. Well my husband did just that last night. he sent me a letter like always and I saw a piece of toilet paper nicely folded inside the letter. It was one of those nice quilted two-ply types that one wouldn't expect an inmate to have access to. So I assumed that the jail was nice enough to make sure the inmates didn't get paper cuts on their butts. Well I read the letter, the last paragraph my beloved husband wrote me was this... "Okay, I'm going to let you go and send you a dozen roses. I'll see you Tuesday." Well I thought, "Roses? What roses?" Then that is when my mind went back to the toilet paper. The pattern on it was of roses. That is when I started to tear up (like I'm doing now) and smile. My husband always knew how to pull on my heartstrings just right to show his love for me and the toilet paper was one of those things. He might not be able to give me the things that I want or need where he is, but he does go out of his damn way to show he loves me and cares about me, no matter what it is. Even if it is a dozen roses on a piece of folded toilet paper from jail. And it is those little things that convince me that there is hope for the world and human kind. Current Mood: loved |

Ah the Internet...
Man, I'm really failing at getting back in the habit of posting daily... Well, this week a lot has happened internet wise so I'll just comment on that :] First! I've become a co-moderator of xxxholic_still so you guys should join and submit okay? :] Second, I won mod's choice in hetaliagraphics this week! It was with this icon of Prussia xP This week's theme is chibi and I have no idea which one of the 14 crops I made for it x.X AND the due date is noon on Sunday so I've got to get it done tomorrow (technically today) Err, I guess that's it for what happened this week x.X Oh! But like, Tiffany ( ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) ureshii_na) and I scanlated a comic from Hetalia! I am very very proud of that! I ...somehow? found a fancomic sequel on Pixiv (I do not remember how I found it x.X). I scanlated that too, but it's really short so for now I guess I'll just put it here? Oh! And now everyone can read the Hetalia comics here! I'm happy to be a part of it :] If you didn't notice there's nothing that specific to my life in here >.> Onto the youtube videos! New Sewing machine belt
So I have a new sewing machine belt. The motor is still jacked, so I don't know if it'll work.... we'll see this weekend. Half of the buttons are on the blouse, I just need to but three more packages and return the ones that didn't fit. I wonder if I'll have time to blood splatter. In other news. Financial aid sucks. v___v Why can't you give me straight answers? Classes start tomorrow! |

THEY KISSED they kissed they kissed! Tamaki and Haruhi kissed! *dances* I'm so giddy right now because they're my favorite couple EVER in ANY fandom, and they finally kissed. Who cares if it was an accident!? IT WAS STILL A KISS! A KIIIIIIIISS! I'm so happy that I'm going to icon this! It's so damn cute! I could just explode. I'm so glad Haruhi isn't going to end up with Hikaru, also. I adore EVERY possible coupling in the entire series besides HikaHaru. It just rubs me the wrong way because he doesn't deserve her. HURRY UP AND TELL HER HOW YOU FEEL, TAMAKI! HUUUUUURRRRRRRY! So anyway, I spent the 4th with Kiona, Brittany, and Natalie. It was pretty fun, despite all the rain and the fact that I kicked a ball into a porch light and broke it ^^; We went to that festival thing in the park before the fireworks and ate constantly, since the food was all 50 cents... SO MUCH EATING! I felt so sick afterward, but I ate MORE anyway and felt sicker and KEPT eating. I love food DX And we played blackjack and watched fireworks and just generally had a good time. I discovered that I am NOT the card shark I once believed I was *lost EVERYTHING she bet* XD I'm just glad we got our stuff back after the game. Oh, and before it got dark we lit smoke bombs, and they were so pretty. Kio-nana chased me with the lighty stick and so we made the others clean them up while she was chasing me ;_; I felt bad, but it was fun and we played hide and seek afterward. I don't think there's anything better in the world than being completely carefree and lighting dangerous fiery objects with friends. I felt so damn content being there with them that I realized "this is how life should be". They and Sammy and Carla are a damn family to me, and I hope I never have to give them up. The thought of not being able to laugh with them is a terrifying one. I just hope after they all graduate, we'll still see each other. Brittany is my sister, so we'll ALWAYS see each other. But... Kiona's going to be an optometrist and she and Nat are both joining the Navy. I just hope I don't lose them. Well, anyway, for those of you also in America: how was your Independence Day? FAIIIILLLLLL
Lol, what else is new? So today I went biking (three weeks now! Go me! :]) and then went bowling with Vivian. The goal for today was to work on my physics homework so that I wouldn't have to suffer so much tomorrow like I did last Monday, that didn't... happen... I've done one problem so far x.X I'm already stuck on the second one. I have an idea, but like, I'm not really sure if that's right? Oh well, I guess I'll ask for help during the discussion tomorrow... And then I have tutoring tomorrow but I haven't quite figured out what I'm doing with him yet x.X I mean, we'll still practice time and his vocabulary, but like, it feels really boring and I don't want him to be bored. I'd email him conversations or something but the computer he's using doesn't have the East Asian Language Pack D: Oh, but what I did instead of my physics homework was read this epic Persona 4 kink meme fic. ( Persona 4 Fanfiction Review )Mmm, I didn't do like, anything else today. I played a little Rock Band, chatted with Vincent... Oh! I managed to chat with Gabriela! That was good... I listened to "Eräaan Viimeinen" a billion times because I am absolutely positively in love with that song. I had no idea that Finnish could sound so pretty. WHICH REMINDS ME! It was driving me crazy so I finally looked up what countries my favorite bands were from. Within Tempation is from the Netherlands (cool, but not Hetalia related at all), Lacuna Coil is from Italy <333 I should have realized that one -_- Karmacode has an entire track in Italian, but I never noticed x.X And then here's the best one: Nightwish is from FINLAND <33333 AND their new singer is from SWEDEN <33333 According to wikipedia there're thinking of having a track or two in Swedish for their new singer and in Finnish if she gets good enough at her Finnish which is just plain AWESOME!! Can you tell that I love Sweden and Finland? Ooh, and "Outcast" got updated which is a wonderful SuFin story so I've just been going Nordic crazy between this and the pessimism festival in Finland that I found out about yesterday and the Wife Carrying Competition that a Finnish couple won this week finally beating an Estonian couple (LOL!) Oooh ooh! And I watched Confessions of a Shopaholic two days ago and I was estatic because the main girl of course had all these excuses to get out of paying her bills and this and that and they were all related to FINLAND because "No one checks up on Finland" it makes me so very very happy. I could see my sisters thinking "oh my god what a loser" everytime I started grinning when Finland or Finnish was mentioned >.> Lol, and I forgot the most productive thing I did all day. I cleaned my comforter and shams and quilt to try to see if that helps with my allergies. Okay this is stupid! I paid that money to get a paid account for livejournal and I haven't been posting at all lately x.X I mean, using my livejournal well yeah, I've been using it a ton because of Hetalia and whatever but yeah! I was all paranoid about what I was typing on my journal and then I stopped using it all together! Laaaaammmeeeeee. So I'm going to go back to posting daily and I'll just try not to worry about it too much. That being said, if you haven't already... I made the icons for Diana ages ago x.X I hope you like them and that they're a nice surprise? Well, I don't feel like saying any more right now so this is the end of this post.
