	barskanks, Ouran pairing lawlz, and a new project So anyway, today Sav (hikarunagisa) called and asked if I wanted to go barhopping with her and her friends from work XD I ended up not going because my parents were giving me this look like "Really?" when I was talking about it on the phone with her, and I hate when they're disappointed in me. But she's spending the night next week and we're going to watch stuff on Youtube and go to Taco Bell. But anyway, afterward I asked my family if I they thought I should have gone, and it went like this: Brittany (kiramekineko): Hell no! I don't want a bunch of bar skanks hitting on you! Me: O.o You think they'd hit on me? Brittany: *ponders* Well, maybe if they were drunk... It made me laugh XDDD Now, you guys know that infamous pairing meme where you fill out a character for each number and then fill out the answers? Well... I finally did it for Ouran: ( Ouran pairing meme lololololololol ) I also started this new thing where every day (if possible XD) I write some quick notes directed to people I know expressing exactly how I'm feeling toward them, because I get really insecure when I don't know how people feel about me and I'd like to help at least some people feel less insecure by knowing what I'm thinking of them: dear_youguys It's an exercise in telling people what I really mean XD Don't worry, it'll be probably 90% nice stuff about people, because I don't get mad/annoyed easily. 	Writer's Block: Go it alone Do you think society puts too much pressure on people to be in relationships and/or have children? Do you think this ostracizes people who would be perfectly content to remain single and/or child-free? Is this pressure worse around the holidays? View 1319 Answers I do think there's a lot of pressure, and I think it's absolutely stupid. If someone is perfectly content being alone or unmarried and having no children, society looks at them like they're somehow weird. In the same sense that it makes me angry when someone gets judged for the gender of person they're attracted to, it makes me angry when someone is judged because they would rather not marry or get into a relationship at all. Everyone should be allowed to do what makes them happy without having the world try to pressure them into following their ideal of "perfection"! For everyone, happiness is different and we all have different goals, and I think before anyone decides to be judgmental, they should take into account that maybe the perfect fairy tale ending that we all strive for is different for every person! *calms down* ^^; God, I sure can rant. My mom was watching over my shoulder and she was like "You should be a lawyer" XDDDDD Maybe. Who knows? *completely unsure of the future 8D* So, it's negative 30 degrees outside. I swear if I have to leave the house I'm going to freaking die. I was thinking of doing Walmart, but there isn't a sale good enough to drag me out right now. Even though I really want to buy some freaking cup o' noodle to keep me waaaaaaaarm *weeps in corner* Funfact: my "fairy tale ending" involves living alone or maybe with a friend and being completely independent with a job that I love that makes me happy. It doesn't involve marriage or a lot of money and it probably doesn't involve kids (as much as I love them). It does, however, having a ton of stuff published, even if I don't get famous. So anyway, lovinjerryt's birthday is tomorrow, so I'd better go get to work on her present... very hush-hush about what it is, of course *zips lips* I'll post it here tomorrow. And Andrea (yurecia)'s birthday was yesterday. 	A Quiet Tuesday Night Tonight has been to damn quiet. And I mean quiet. Dead as a tomb quiet. Twitter is just dead, no one is on. Sad I hate it when it gets that quiet. 	WHAT A GREAT WEEKEND! ♥ I had like... the best weekend EVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEER! *explodes* So anyway, suddenkiss (Kiona) and Natalie came over in the evening on Saturday, and chaos ensued almost immediately. I tore my room apart looking for a dress for Kio to wear and Brittany and I finally managed to get her into one, which hardly ever happens (she doesn't wear dresses much XD). We got dressed up in our formal gowns and headed off to Chuck E. Cheese's! When we got there, we quickly made $30 of my money into tokens and went insane. We were running around like crazy people! Also, this was about the time how it was shown yet again just how absolutely amazing my friends are. I have this weird thing my eyes do sometimes (usually when I get too excited) where like 75% of my vision clouds over with rainbow swirls and I'm almost completely blind, so I have to keep my eyes closed until it goes away. I went to sit at one of the tables to wait it out, but they were like "OH NO YOU DON'T *insert plotting laughter". I was like "I CAN'T SEEEEEEE!" as they dragged me off. They chose a bunch of games for us all to play where sight wasn't required and they all guided me and made sure I didn't get hurt. They were dragging me all over the place and fighting over who got to be my "guide", and it was so funny. I had to keep my eyes closed for about half an hour, and I was laughing the entire time. My friends are amazing, and they won't leave me behind for anything or let me be boring XD I love how they're always there for me no matter what (even with silly things like this), and I would do anything for them! ♥ After we got back from Chuck's (we won 600 tickets 8D booya), we had sloppy joes and then played Life. We decided that we/our little pieces were the Host Club (don't ask, it was Britt's idea XD), and mine was Haruhi. I ended up being a lawyer and had no kids, and in the end I won with 2 million dollars and everyone was like "BACKWAAAAAAAAARDS" lol. So, after that we played beer pong with soda, and it was awesome! I really got good at chugging, because I did get four of them (hand eye coordination = zero) and we were acting like frat boys and chanting "chug chug chug" whenever anyone got one. It was awesome. Then we watched the Ouran Funimation outtakes and loled for about 20 minutes about it. Then we looked up urban legends on my laptop, and kinda scared ourselves. I wanted to go inside ( we were in the old daycare wing of my house, which we refer to as a separate house altogether XD) to wash my face, and they were all like "NO YOU'LL DIIIIIIE!" and so we all went together and made a bunch of noise and kinda acted like idiots. Then we looked up more urban legends and read them aloud in different accents. This went on until 9 AM when we fell asleep on the floor X3 And of course through this whole night we kept referencing how Kyouya has nubs for arms. It's our biggest inside joke. So, as you can see, it was the most immature but most fun weekend ever ♥ I really needed it. I love my friends so much, and whenever we hang out I completely forget every problem I've ever had and just feel free to be myself. They make me so happy. 	Oh my God WHY? So, due to *ahem* certain events I didn't get to finish my Bio until 2am and thus didn't get to try to sleep until 2:30. That's a really late night for me. I think that's a really late night for anyone. Unfortunately at around 6am? (That's what my internal clock tells me I couldn't bring myself to look) the stupid radiator decided to make giant noises for around fifteen minutes and I know Rachel got up to try to get it to stop but she was unsuccessful and oh my god I'm tired. I know that I had already planned to skip Japanese class today to work on Orgo, but now I'm really glad I'm doing that in hopes that maybe I can squeeze a nap in. I'd so skip Organic Chemistry lecture this morning but I really really need to go. BUT!! Rachel's still asleep and I don't know how to wake her and normally she and I would have been up for around fifteen minutes now... Maybe I can have my loud alarm clock go off at 8... 	NaNo is over and what's going on now. Well NaNo is over and like an idiot, I didn't turn in my stuff in time and it didn't get counted this year. DX But I did achieve my personal goal of writing more than last year's NaNo. Last year I wrote 1000+ words, this year I wrote 3000+ words. Well better than nothing right. And the funny thing when NaNo ends that is when the damn writer's block gets removed and the ideas and writing starts to happen. Damn you to hell Murphy and your fucking law!!! Oh well. Other than that I'm doing good, bought myself a box of 120 Crayola crayons the other day. I really couldn't help myself, I'm a huge sucker for art stuff an I'm a habitual color fiend to boot. There are not enough colors in the universe to satisfy me it seems. Give me all your colors or the coloring book gets it!!! *Holds a helpless coloring book in one hand an a lit lighter in the other.* XD But in all seriousness though I do love to work with color and color palettes that I'm a member of Colorlovers a web site dedicated to color and the fans of colors. I also have Color Schemer installed on my laptop. Great program too. And I have at least 5 books on color and color palettes as well. And I got tons of crayons, color pencils and color markers at home as well. So yes I am a color junky. Current Mood: creative

	Farewell to NaNoWriMo So, despite the fact that I didn't finish, this year's was a very productive NaNoWriMo. I managed to get 12,700 words out of 50,000, which isn't too bad considering I'm such a horrible procrastinator. Also, I finally got to write the story I've had buzzing in my head since I was in high school XD It was supposed to be a real fairy tale, but it turned out as a comedy and more satirical than anything, poking fun at all the weird stuff that happens in fairy tales that makes no sense (especially ones about princesses) and all the stupid cliches. I'm so, so happy with this story, mostly because it's so personal (nearly every character was inspired heavily by someone I went to high school with X3 especially King Jules, who is based on my friend Calvin, who never walks but runs and never talks but screams and every time he sees me, he sneaks up on me and swings me in circles and since he's so tall and I'm short, I can't do anything about it. I swear, he's crazy XD). Just in case I forgot to mention before, it's about a princess who has to pretend to be a prince so she can be heir to the throne and keep her family's birthright. Which of course = madness and hilarity. If anyone is interested in reading part or all of the story that I have written so far, they can click here ;D If anyone decides to read it, tell me what you think? Anyway, you should all tell me all about your NaNo stories and your triumphs, terrors, and heartbreak while writing them. And if any of you finished, good for you! I'm so proud! 	plushies, family, and friends Wellllllllllll, it's been a nice week X3 ( pics of BFFs, plushie cuteness, and my boring haircut ) So anyway, I had a ton of fun this week. I spent time with my aunts and uncles and cousins and my grandma. I played hide and seek with my little cousins and got way more into it than they did XD I was like "WOOOOOO!" and running everywhere. It was a lot of fun. When I was a little kid, until Brittany was born I was the only kid in my family and then at school I was really shy, so I didn't really do stuff like that too much. My friends and I play ALL the time these days, but it's more fun to play with little kids because they share my energy level XDDDDDD SO MUCH FUN! Also, Brittany sorta taught me how to play Moonlight Sonata on the piano at my grandma's house. I'm horrible at the piano XD I guess I'm just not coordinated enough and my hands are too small to really hit all of the notes necessary. But it was fun anyway! On Saturday, my parents and Brittany and I had a family game night and played Elixir (it's a wizard game from like 20 years ago where you brew potions and try to make the elixir of life). It was awesome. I spent almost every waking moment this whole week with my family XD There was a lot of bonding time this week and it was all so awesome and fun. Now I feel fuzzy inside and I'm so happy. I know it might be boring and kinda simple, but I love my life so much <3 AND I DON'T HAVE TO WORK UNTIL WEDNESDAY!!!!!!! WEEE!
