our_quarter is a role-playing game which revolves around the French Quarter of New Orleans. Players may, however, live in other areas such as the Garden District. The rpg
our_quarter is set in New Orleans post Hurricane Katrina. The Garden District was not hit as badly as other areas of the city. Its inhabitants are the city's wealthy and have the financial resources to repair what damage was done. The French Quarter suffered minor damage and businesses are in different stages of the renovation process. Many are up and running with business as usual, some are being renovated as we write.No disrespect is intended to the plight of the people of New Orleans; quite the opposite.
The majority of characters are celebrities but nothing is meant to be implied about their real life counterparts. This is a role-playing game and everything contained herein (and in all game-related journals) is complete and utter fiction. Pups are usually played as AU characters.
Readers and players are welcome to WATCH/MONITOR this community, but the only people authorized to JOIN and post are the characters.
