Participants of the first os_challenge time is coming to a close. for those of you who started May 1st, the due date was April 30th.

Give me your final word counts. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. Don't worry if you didn't finish, you have two options, take your left over word count to your goal for this year and try again, or start over with a new project!

We're going to change things up a little bit. We're going to do three different programs here.

100k program: 274 words a day

250k program: 685 words a day

500k program: 1370 words a day

Choose your own Program: We'll set a word quota based on how much you want to do.


Also, I'm going to need to know everyone's starting months. I'm going to make a post for that soon and you can reply to it. I'm also going to work on making a message board for chatting in topics and stuff. :) I want to make this community a little more interactive. Interaction makes things more fun. I'm willing to run writing excersizes as well. Feedback on that please?

Okay, just so we're all on the same page here....

If everyone could give me the day (or rough estimate) of when they joined the community, I can make word quotas for everyone for where they're supposed to be with their fics. Then I can keep you all up to date on your word counts on occasion and be ya know...a cheerleader and stuff. :)

Official Word Count for a May 1st starting point:

If you're keeping up with the word count, and you started on May 1st, 2006, you should have roughly....26,302 words.

If you're new to the community, and would prefer your start date be that of your starting date, feel free to do so. Or...you have the option of attempting to catch up and make up for the lost time. :)
