bats and birds

Canework polymer clay. I'm unhappy with how these turned out because the clay was brittle and cracked as I worked with it.

Two bats, the flying one had some of the corn starch stuck to it, so I tried to wash it off, but that caused the whole thing to take on a dusty appearance. I may be able to sand/polish it later.

Wow, that's pretty neat that you're able to use a different medium to mix with origami paper. Hmm, I might just try that.

Thanks for sharing! I like the 2nd photo of the crane.

If you decide to try, look on youtube for some good tutorials.

Wow, those are great! Did you use fimo or sculpy?

Umm... the white is fimo soft, the black is... sculpey premo, I think, I'm not sure about the other colors.

Okay, I was just wondering about which brands were harder than others. Did you find that any one kind cracked or was harder to manage than the other?

I think fimo soft and sculpey primo are the easiest to work with, right now. regular fimo and sculpey tend to get a little brittle, but that could just be the particular batch I'm working with.
