Russian space should feature Lenin also, maybe.

Then the German layout should feature Hitler, Mussolini for Italian, and Franco for Spanish. And each time you want to insert a space in an English text, it's your choice: poke Mrs. Thatcher or Mr. Bush.

Not really, because you can make your own layout, that shows russian, but writes english, if you want so.

By the way, how about layout for GAI exams?

One which features numbers 1 to 5, space and nothing else :)

Compare these pictures. Icons on the first one have ugly bordes

Letters on this one are pretty and smooth

Optimus at GAI?
They'll be using handmade polyethylene shields till you die. Forget it.

Unless Tema performs a Mini Five with a syren, a rotating beacon and blue numbers.

Image with white keyboard (photoshop layout) looks AWFUL. It seems you have to redesign the transparent caps.

Darker caps?
(Anonymous)
2007-11-16 02:24 pm UTC (link)
IMHO the caps should be dark enough so as not to be able to see the internal structure of the key (frame of the OLED, etc...)

IOW so dark that only what the OLED shows is visible.

Other than that, nice to see that the times of renders are over ;)

I'm hoping that the caps are dark enough and that the reason for us seeing the underlying structure is because they put a lot of light on it from the side for clearer close ups.

I am impressed by the resolution though. The curves of the Japanese alphabet are excellent at showing just how good it is.

(sorry for my russian comment, do not have a habit of reading the profile prior to journal itself)

My point was that using famous people as language pictograms may be a bit confusing for consumers and a challenging task for creators as long as it seems hard to stay ignorant of politics.

What identifies english layout?
Why not to use national flags for identification?

Second, as already mentioned, the habit of using russian passwords in english layout is indeed widely spread, will there be any elegant solution?)

Ask yourself another question: what does indicate a good and extra-productive typing in English? And give yourself an correct answer: William Sheakspire.

>Habit of using russian passwords in english layout is indeed widely spread, will there be any elegant solution?)

Just press a key (from additional left keys block, for example) and change a layout. As the Russian proverb says, it's not a place that makes a man better, but a man makes a place better. So try doing it in most elegant way.

I've noticed that all your Japanese layouts have the third row shifted right by one. The third row should start with つ.

German Layout

So, could we have a picture with a German layout?

I really wonder where you'd put the missing "<>|"-key. ---Yes, I'm a little bit angry. A keyboard with replaceable keys, but no way to replace the left shift with shift+<>|. Also, the Return key should be rotatable to double height...
