Optimus Maximus Tinted Keycaps
Here's the hi-tech tinted plastic cup we use to check the needed amount of tint for the transparent keycaps.


Here you can see that tinted keycaps look better than completely transparent ones. (Hint: all the double-sized keycaps are tinted.)

Thus his statement that the tinted keys look better.

If you'll notice, none of the double-wide keys (which are the ones that have tinting) have much (if any) visible glare.

Looks like the keycaps could use even more tint, the shown ones look (in the picture) just a little to glossy yet.

? The only ones with glare are the right ctrl/shift keys.

Why not darken the caps so much that you wounldn't need UV films on screens? Both are doing the same job.

Double sized Escape key and couples of functional keys looks unusual.
Is it was necessary to change standard keys layout?
