Optimus-103 Functional News
Here's the list of some Optimus-103 specs.
'Dependent' features
1. Indication changes when:
- keyboard layout changes
- CapsLock is pressed (only letters change)
- app gets active
- app's mode get changed (i.e. text/drawing modes in Photoshop)
- one or several modifier keys (Ctrl, Alt, Shift, Command) are pressed
2. Keys' state changes when:
- certain ambient light conditions or specified time of the day occur
- certain computer state (sleep, on, off etc.) occurs
Brightness fades to dark when keyboard is switched off. 'Starry night' screensaver for keys.
'Independent' features:
3. Optimus mini three-like plug-ins
4. Games (Fifteens, etc.)
5. Touch-typing tutor (turns off the letters user learned)
6. Opening apps and switching between them
User settings:
- auto brightness, software-controlled (manual) brightness
- several font styles for indication (colored letters, outlined letters)
- label position (right/left, top/bottom of displays)
- several layout showing at one time (i.e. Roman and Cyrillic letters for those who can't live without seeing both simultaneously; or Roman letters together with Photoshop instruments for those who don't want to forget mnemonics)
- layouts for a certain key or block of keys
- sequence programming for any key within a certain layout
- creating own layouts
