Wow. This community's a bit... er, dead.

For some reason I can't stop listening to this song (even though I don't have the mp3 and have to stream it) and even when I first heard it, I was so struck by its poetry. I probably am not worthy to undertake this task, and God knows I wasn't able to capture the magnitude of this piece of art, but here is Joey Ayala's Walang Hanggang Paalam. I urge everyone to listen to it. It brings tears to my eyes.

I tried translating this a few weeks ago. It gave me a hard time, and I think it's still less than perfect.

This time I didn't do line by line translations, well, not entirely, but tried to get to the meaning of the song.

Hi! I'm new to the community! I'm half-Filipino but I know very little on how to speak the Tagalog language.

I was just wondering if anyone would be so kind enough to give me the Tagalog lyrics of the song below,as well as the English translation. The song is called "Kung Alam Mo Lang" which is sung by Roxie Barcelo. The song is the Tagalog Cover of the Korean band,KISS' "Because I am a Girl".

Woah, I wish I knew about this community sooner... ok, I speak like, three words of Tagalog, so I greatly appreciate this community already. I don't know some of the songs that have already been translated here, but that gives me even more reason to go check those bands/artists out, so just wanted to say thanks right off.

Some lyrics I'd appreciate translated:

Yeah, I love G-9, sorry. On a somewhat related note but not really, does anyone know where I can find the lyrics to "Get To Know You" (also by Gloc 9)? They're in English but I can't find them anywhere and I have no idea why because it's a really catchy song.

Would also appreciate a translation of "Balikbayan Box" by Eraserheads.

Any of those would be awesome... I don't need them all, honestly. I know the pain of translating things. ~_~;

Could anyone tell me a good resource for learning Tagalog? I watch some TV programs in Tagalog but that's only so helpful. ^_^;;

Also, don't hesitate to post any attempts at translating stuff - I'm not that deeply versed in Tagalog which is why I also wanted this community to happen. People are here to help. :)

I'm wondering if anyone would be able to help me .. I'd like help to translate into English Martin Nievera's song "Kahit Isang Saglit". I can work out a fair bit of it (am an Aussie who's lived in Philippines for 7 years) but would really like to have it as close to perfect as possible.
