24-hour show ideas...

So, as I mentioned at the last OCT meeting, I've recently been struck by the idea of putting on a 24-hour show - that is, a play where the entire production process, from casting to curtain call, takes place in 24 hours. I was inspired in part by Brandeis University, which as I mentioned had done it last year with Wicked.

Interesting development. They've done it this year, too - with Avenue Q.

This seems like a very very good idea to me. Upbeat, catchy songs, lots of hilarity, lot of people are already pretty familiar with it so they could pick up roles quickly... the puppets would probably require some degree of "cheating" - either starting work on the puppets beforehand, or using very simple puppets, or something - but otherwise... this would be an interesting thing to do.

Thoughts people?
