| oofuri_quilt needs a new owner |

Who remembers oofuri_quilt and the jaw dropping quilts we came out with a year or so ago?
Well, I'm here cracking open my old LJ to inform you that ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) kiwimangoodness, mizunohotaru and I aren't planning to pick up the quilt project again.
It's a huge waste to just let the community sit there so if you're interested in adopting it, please leave a comment here. Previous experience with a quilt comm would be great, but enthusiasm works just as well.
Please consider that doing fandom "quilts" is a bit time consuming around December (and any other time you plan to do them, really).
In the past, the Oofuri fandom was really fun and easy to work with, I hope for whoever wants the comm that it hasn't changed much. :) |

Since the closing of raep_time a couple of days ago a lot of people have been wondering what will happen to the Oofuri Manga? Well I am here today to announce that nice_pitching will be picking up the oofuri manga and work were Raep_time left off and beyond. I know its weird having a different group working on the manga, but we are going to do our best in bringing you quality, speed, and excellences like Raep_time or better.
Our main focus is the Oofuri Manga, even though my group is a doujinshi group.
I would be happy and honored if anyone would like to help Nice_pitching by being a Translator, Editor, cleaner, typesetter, or anything you know that would help Nice_pitching release the oofuri manga.
We ask for your continuing support for the the oofuri manga and hope you would come and support Nice_pitching.
Ookiku Furikabutte is a wonderful Manga. I couldn’t just sit there seeing such a great manga not being picked up or not being worked on.

| Fic: Control, Mihashi, One Outs crossover |

So I have a terrible habit of getting drawn into crossovers (of which there are depressingly few given the number of baseball manga--come on, Rookies/Oofuri crosses anyone? Pretty please?), and after watching One Outs I couldn't stop it from growing into Oofuri in my head. This is the result. Crack. Character death before the start of the fic, nothing too horrible going. No pairings, no violence, maybe a wee bit of language... Let me know what you think! Criticism is always welcome.
And baseball is not my forte, so forgive any lapses in that area.
Mihashi-centric crack. One Outs crossover.

It's my first time posting on the community.
I am a soundphile (a person who likes music) and I find this anime's soundtrack simply amazing. It's great and stuff and has a summerish feeling to it. I wonder if everyone feels that too... I hope I am not alone. :D
So why the hell am I posting? Well, to contribute to the site. Right now, I don't even know if I should post this to oofuri or here...
