Oofuri (Afternoon) Chapter 44

These chapters give me Death Note vibes. Only Death Note can't really be made much easier to understand using things like pictures, charts, and Wikipedia, whereas with Oofuri, I was at least able to draw myself this. Really helpful, see?

My raws are now of the Afternoon chapters, so the numbering of the chapters and pages is going to change to match those instead. So this IS the subsequent chapter, it's just the Afternoon chapter numbering/grouping. (Though volume 12 *is* out, right? Have raws been released yet? Haven't been able to keep up with LJ to know, sorry. It'd be nice to have them so my numbering, especially for the pages, matches those instead... Though hopefully I'll be in the vicinity of a Kinokunya next week and be able to get some myself. Sooner still always better, though.)

Oofuri (Afternoon) Chapter 43

Heh, I'm kind of sad, since there were so many parts reading these chapters the first time ages ago that frustrated me because I wanted to fangirl over them but not enough people had read them. It made me want to translate them, but I didn't have time then. Now I AM translating them, and I still get rather excited over it (even if not quit as hyperactivly as the first time), but by the time I post them I don't have the energy or heart to squee that much anymore, hehe (getting on the internet where I am currently is often sort of a fast, nervous thing).

Mihashi makes me happy in this chapter, though. ^_^

I WOULD start trying to translate this on THIS game. It hurts my brain to remember that the beginning was actually infinitely more comprehensible than the latter parts. T_T However, nothing says TRANSLATE ME like the last few pages of this chapter, yes?

Hello. With Raep Time breaking up I was thinking of attempting to help out Nice Pitching with the translating of the manga, but after trying a couple chapters out I'm not really sure I feel comfortable doing it. On the other hand, I can certainly understad more than well enough to entertain myself while reading it (though I sometimes get pretty confused when there's lots of baseball talk), so I thought maybe I could at least make some summaries and scripts of what I do understand to help those who want to read ahead. Since I'm just translating rather than doing the whole scanlating process, hopefully these will go faster than the scanlations. I've got 2 chapters here so far:

Chapter 20
Chapter 21

Probably worth noting that while I haven't been around much so I'm not sure, I think Nice Pitching might be finishing up Chapter 20 pretty soon, so a lot of you will probably prefer to just wait and read that, hahaha. If anyone has any suggestions for making the scripts more readable, let me know. I'm just doing these on the side so I'm not going to go too crazy trying to make these look nice, but if it's hard to keep your place let me know. ...And let me know if you guys would rather I post here every time I have a new chapter done or if it's better to just crawl back into my little lurker whole. ^_^

Hello!

Now that raep_time has officially announced that they are no loner scanlating Oofuri, I decided to just find out what happens in the series by looking at the RAW scans instead of waiting for translated scans. (But I want to express gratitude towards entropy and raep_time for scanlating all that they did so far! Thank you!)

I've spent all day looking at all the posts in the livejournal for oofuri and oofuri_etc looking for snippets of spoilers and summaries left behind by people who can understand the raws such as leviosa8.

If anyone knows where else I can find summaries for the chapters that's not on livejournal's oofuri and oofuri_etc or leviosa8's livejournal, I'll appreciate it a lot! Once I compile a better list of summaries, I'll share it one here for other people in my situation who can't understand the RAWs!

I thought that maybe it's about time I asked for some help. I want to make a wallpaper with Tosei members but I have only two scans: this and another one from the scorebook that came with the 9th DVD (a tiny one too). It's rather frustrating since the game with Tosei took half of the series, while Haruna was only in a couple of episodes and yet there are plenty of scans with him.
Does anyone have more Tosei scans to share?
