HI GUYS. REMEMBER THIS GAME HERE?
OKAY SO WE ALL WANT IT TO WORK. So the chat discussed a few plot ideas, and we went over the ones suggested, and while those can still be used, they need ... motivation, and none of them really kick the characters into doing anything. That's a bit of a problem! The reason why our past OC games worked, and why games like Everthorne worked, is because the characters had motivations. They need a reason to be writing on the network, a reason to care for why the others exist, and while RR was very fate-y and Everthorne was very school-y, neither of those ideas could be used again.
So, we came up with a twist on fate. Two of the characters—Alice and one who has yet to be named, but he will be a future version of one of my characters (it will be very obvious once I get him up and running)—will have used time travel to come back to the past and, well, try to stop the world from ending! This is a cold war, after all, and there's either going to be some kind of resolution or the world's gonna end. Well, the chances are? The world's going to end at this rate, with the way that things are going.
Basically, the yet to be named character is going to make a post! He's going to tell everyone involved in the network and everyone eventually involved (giving us an opening for new characters) that they are involved with the world ending. They either caused it or have the power to stop it. He's not going to say who was involved with what, but they need to basically eliminate the threats and use what powers they have to change things—even if they're just a rich kid skivving off their family's funds and going to university, they are somehow involved and they need to be made aware. But he's not going to be very clear on this, and there's a good chance that you guys won't really know that you maybe caused the end of the world as we know it.
BEFORE THIS POST IS SET UP, I'm going to put in my "can we has some organization plz" desires, and ask that everyone comment on the post I make after this so that our lovely mods can start to organize where the characters are. We don't have a list, and it'd be nice. I think we should also say where they're working, or where they are. Like a brief affiliation. Like Christopher Prescott, for example, would be a "high school student in South Africa." That way, we can know where people are so we can situate and plot with that! No, I'm still not a mod, I just think this would help.

Obviously, there's going to be a war between the three factions. I'd say that (maybe) Alice pushes them all to go at war with one another with he actions. So for the first couple months, we have that, and then we figure out what goes on from there?
Any other plot ideas are welcome, too, since this is not very strong. |

What's the cultural thing with powereds? How much does the average person know about them? How common are they? How much are they liked? Is there any way to tell if someone has a power without them telling or showing you?
Also, how are they perceived differently in the PER or AA as opposed to the EU? Are they more feared in one group, or more liked? Etc etc! |
