• Post ten of any pictures currently on your hard drive that you think are self-expressive.
• NO CAPTIONS!!! It must be like we're speaking with images and we have to interpret your visual language just like we have to interpret your words.
• They must ALREADY be on your hard drive - no googling or flickr! They have to have been saved to your folders sometime in the past. They must be something you've saved there because it resonated with you for some reason.
• You do NOT have to answer any questions about any of your pictures if you don't want to. You can make them as mysterious as you like. Or you can explain them away as much as you like.

If you saw me in a police car, what would you think I got arrested for? Answer, then post to your own journal if you want, and see how many crimes you get accused of.

After Crazy Torchwood Fan Showdown 2009, and this blog entry by Torchwood writer James Moran in which he talks about receiving the worst of fandom, I've decided too many Torchwood fans take things way too fucking seriously.

I understand being pissed at a show that bad. I was when Atlantis ruined Elizabeth Weir and then kicked her off. I managed not to attack anyone and everyone in my sight who disagreed with me even in the slightest, though. I just left the show and didn't come back.

So, I invite all the enraged Torchwood fans that have decided to let everyone else feel just how mad they are by lashing out to GTFO. You're a disgrace.

Alright, then. Back to pretending it doesn't matter that much to me. Thanks.

I love how the critics are increasingly surprised at the darkness of the new HP movie. Because, you know, they have no idea what's coming. These are totally new!

I can't wait for the reviews of Deathly Hallows.

"This is the darkest of the Harry Potter movies, with someone dying every five minutes. I was shocked! These are supposed to be family films!"

Ok. I've been sleeping so much. I haven't had any energy lately.

Friday was especially happy and relaxing though. I don't know why I got so emo.

Why are all my adventures pastel...? )

Friday was also very awesome because I thought my phone was getting turned off. It's all good now though. ^-^ And I got more lace to finish up some sewing projects and commissions. Talked to Abercrombie today which is always good and adds new perspective to stale views. ♥ Also got new soap from Trader Joe's. It smells like Christmas.

Just because...

Love took a long time, it followed me here
And it landed on light feet, and it whispered in my ear
Love spoke of my past as a valuable test
And smiled, and said she who loves last loves best

'Cause you know life is hard, but now you also know your mind,
So now you're going out to love, but on your own side this time
Where you still think of famine, and you still dig up train fare
And you won't mind the wrinkles, 'cause you know how they got there
In love but not at peace
In love but not at peace

It appears that I have stayed up until 5:30am browsing Someone Once Told Me. When did that happen? Craziness.

I rather enjoy the photographs though, as well as the concept as a whole.

Just finished watching Fate/Stay Night. I was hoping for a less - depressing? ending because I love Saber, but :( While originally the whole Saber=King Arther thing was kinda weird because Saber's a chick but it really started to grow on me - the fact that she was totally bamf definitely helped a lot, haha. I'm glad that I finally watched it, though. Not one of my favourites, but it was still really good. I thought the heroes idea was pretty cool and each of the characters had their own voice to the point where you either love or hate them.

Oh, driving to/from church today I saw the stuff chilling in Consolidated's grass area for the carnival - gah! Also, Harry Potter is in two days but technically tomorrow - also gah! Where is time going?! I'm excited to see Beyonce again in a week, though :) It feel kinda weird because Jackie's going to be there too, but I don't mind chilling with her cousins so... then again, Anya =/= Katie :|

Bed now and ready for a hopefully exciting day tomorrow.

~.: So I feel that, in light of my three-day absence from the interwebnetz and my longer than that absence from LJ, I should probably give some sort of update on my life. Kingsfest seems a pretty good place to start, though I already know I'm going to leave quite a bit out. I'm sure I don't need to go into detail about what time we set out and which ride we went on and what time and what we had for lunch. I will, however, state that the hotel room I reserved was a pleasing surprise. After I reserved it, I decided it would be a good idea to read some reviews for this particular hotel. The reviews weren't very encouraging to say the least. ^^; Things like "lobby smelled weird" and "cockroaches" and "AC doesn't work" stuck out the most in my mind. I was expecting the worst. Pretty much, it was kind of awesome, compared to what I was expecting. I didn't think the lobby smelled weird at all, I didn't see a single cockroach (or any other uninvited vermin/guest for that matter), and the AC worked a little too well. The beds were comfortable, and I think we managed to fit everyone into one, even when my mom got there.

~.: We got to meet two of James' friends from some MMO he plays (I think it's an MMO) and they were pretty cool. They were both really nice, and of course Facebook friendship ensued. The bands we got to see (I only cared about Skillet, Family Force 5, and Newsboys this year) were basically freakin' awesome. I caught the tail-end of Jeremy Camp (>D), which was okay too- still not my favorite. The Newsboys have a new frontman- Michael Tait from dcTalk. I'm still not sure how I feel about that. :/ He attempted to sing in Peter Furler's style, but it just wasn't the same. It wasn't Australian, and there was a little too much soul in his voice. On the upside, we had the best seats this year. Two rows in front of the platform where the entire band decided to chill for about fifteen minutes (they weren't really chilling- Michael Tait was doing some talking thing and there was music and I SAW HIS BOXERS LOL). Oh yeah. I was less than six feet away from the Newsboys. It was basically the most awesome thing ever. 8D My only disappointment is that it wasn't Peter Furler. D:

~.: But really, the highlight of my trip (and probably the highlight of my year) was my mom coming all the way down to see the concerts with us. It was so weird for me to be seeing her not in New York. And I loved it. Every second of it. It made the entire Kingsfest trip this year so much more awesome. I didn't get Peter Furler, but I did get my mom. And the autographs of Family Force 5 on a t-shirt. I also bought a Skillet t-shirt and a really pretty sarong (I couldn't help it- the mannequin wore it so well, and I've secretly always wanted one 8D).

~.: And I'm at work, finishing up the second half of my double shift. My sleep today is going to be so awesome. Hopefully there will be room for me in the bed (I'm pretty sure Layne is still going to work in the morning, but I have no idea what her and Becky's concert plans were for last night/today).

~.: In other news, the weird twinge in my throat has moved to the other side. :/ I really wish I could figure out what it is, cuz it definitely hurts more at night when it gets all dry. It actually kind of hurts pretty annoyingly now. ><" I guess it could always be worse.

~.: My sunburn itches. 8D
