音楽の流れ/ongaku no nagare - flow of music
WELCOME!
Thank you for visiting Ongaku no nagare. This community is home to a musical and video rotation founded by Dokukyo. Ongaku no nagare was formerly known as jrock_ysi, but has since switched from a community based sharing format into a personal rotation (with some contributions from friends). The community was a big success for quite a while, but after activity from members died down, the decision was made to turn the project into a personal one. After a name switch and painstaking hours of slaving to make playlists and gather media information, the community (started in 2005) is heading into new territory.
You will find that new rotations generally take place several times a week. Between myself and the other contributors, there's a fair amount of media to be shared.
MEDIA
As you would expect, Ongaku no nagare is host to predominately j-rock media. There is the occasional j-pop or Korean music entry as well but the focus here is on Japanese rock music.
We have a handy archive that allows you to search for media already posted in the rotation. This saves me time handeling multiple requests for the same things and community members can effortlessly find what is already available. You can search by artist name or simply look for PVs, singles, etc.
CONTRIBUTORS
The community is owned and ran by Dokukyo. Joining in the rotation media sharing is the occasional post from Konoyo.
Only contributors can post entries to the community. We are currently looking for new people to join us in posting to the rotation. If you would like to become a contributor, please read over the FAQ and then contact Dokukyo.
RULES
It is imperative that you conduct yourself politely, please don't argue or be rude. Thanking the person that took the time and effort to upload media is greatly appreciated, also. When requesting from a contributor, patience is required. We do our best to fill all requests as fast as we can but we are human and have lives outside the internet (not to mention, in some cases, not the fastest internet connection). Please do not repetitively contact a contributor asking what's taking so long or where the file is, we'll be as fast as we can. These are the crux of the rules, but for more specific things (such as how to make a request, etc.), please see the request or FAQ sections.
LAYOUT
The community layout and info page was designed by Dokukyo on 16 November 2007. It currently features the band Buck-Tick. Images taken from thier single "Kagerou".
