I didn't see that coming actually. The bookies being pretty much bang on for once, and a country I didn't think quite having it in 'em, well, having it in 'em.

Gosh. I've always wanted to go to Russia, and so has Mrs Hacksaw. But I'm feeling strangely muted. Not going to blame any neighbourly business, cos look down the list of votes and the most popular song across the board won. The UK didn't give it owt, which probably explains why we thought it might miss out - collective consciousness and all that.

But sod it, Moscow in the Spring - shit, what's the opening party going to be like!!!
