No, I did not do another Monty Python drabble, so there's no need to run away. Instead, I chose to write in the style of...

Japanese hentai/dating simulations!! (That's what I call them, anyway.)

It had to be done some time.

Since it's impossible to write a semi-detailed story (with options!) all in one 300-word drabble (and making each separate part its own drabble is just sheer laziness), I made this so that any one path (from start to finish) you choose will each come to a total of 300 words or less (not including the options, of course)

So that means I've written several drabbles at once (with overlapping segments) and it's up to you to choose the combination. The segments (other than the first one) are posted in my journal.

So, let's get started with:

Title: Every Man Loves Sanji Extravaganza!
Rating: PG-13 (overall)
(Starting) Word Count: 62
Pairing: (depends on you) x Sanji

"Dinner's ready!!"

The number of people at the table (Luffy, Nami, and Robin) remained the same. Sanji fumed.

"The swordsman is in the men's quarters sleeping, the doctor is in the storage room, and the marksman is showering," Robin helpfully provided.

Sanji thanked Robin and left the two females to protect the food from Luffy while Sanji went to get the others.

I put a lot of work (maybe a bit too much work) in this and would really appreciate everyone's opinions. I'll even appreciate critical ones!!

	The thought of making completely separate endings for each branch occurred to me, but then that wouldn't go with the style (which often reuses the same exact scenes over and over again). Plus, I pretty much only had those two endings to begin with. (Reply to this) (Parent)

Dangit! I forgot about that part! And to think I was imagining Excel Saga when I was writing this stuff, too (;_;)

But alas, it would've taken more effort (which I have already spent and gone in the red with) to include that option and an appropriate ending.

Actually, I could've probably come up with something, but then I wouldn't have been able to finish this thing up for another week.

	It started as an idea last Saturday night, began making an outline and writing in a few segments on Sunday, had to go to work until 7:30pm on Monday and Tuesday, thus leaving me scrapping my free time (and some of my beauty sleep) to writing this ~~obsession~~ project. (Reply to this) (Parent)

	I don't know. I had to use Microsoft Excel's calculation equations to keep track of how changing the word count in certain segments affected the word count as a whole. I had to cut a lot of stuff out, but I don't miss or remember the stuff (although this could be because my brain is fried). (Reply to this) (Parent)(Thread)

	It doesn't have to be a drabble. If you post at another comunity the word count won't matter and you'll have more freedom. Livejournal seems to be good at this sort of thing. (Reply to this) (Parent)(Thread)

Hmmm, a larger version of something like this on LJ would be great. Just have to find someone(s) to do the planning and organizing (and the ever-important writing). Maybe make it partially Round-Robin-esque to lower the burden on individual writers?

Unfortunately, I think this is one of those styles that are best done solo, so that the cohesion of the story is preserved. Good luck to anyone who wants to try, 'cause I'm pooped out.

Makes me wonder what path(s) you took that impressed you so much. Care to tell?

Looking back at what I wrote, I see that I've not only included Slashslut!Nami, but also Horny!Chopper, Peeper!(okay, more like Spy!)Robin, a double entrende(sp?) (i.e. "get off"), and a food metaphor with Sanji.

So...does that earn me one more Tentacle!Sanji? (<- acknowledges that she's pushing it)
