| About: | It seems most of One Piece fandom is yaoi or shounen-ai, at least the fandom I have encountered so far. I myself am a mild shounen-ai fan, but it seems that it's overloaded the fandom, to where it's nigh impossible to find anything else. And the het fans don't really have a place to go where they won't feel like the proverbial fish-out-of-water. I created this community for that reason; to give the het fans (or even the fans who like both yaoi AND het) a place to gather and talk. In other words, this is a het fan-group, not an anti-yaoi group. If you like OP het in any form, you are welcome, no matter what your other pairing preferences may be. Rules -- read before posting, PLEASE!: 1. Het discussions only, please. The yaoi and shounen-ai fans have their own groups, this is the group for het fans. 2. No yaoi or shounen-ai bashing. This is a het group, not an anti-yaoi group (yes, there is a difference). Please keep in mind that there are multi-pairing fans here. Liking yaoi, shounen-ai, yuri, shoujo-ai, or het are not mutually exclusive. 3. Fanfic posting is both welcome and encouraged. Just place substantial ficcage behind an lj-cut, and include all appropriate warnings on adult material. 3a. Het fanfics which include yaoi pairings are also accepted. 4. No pairing-bashing. All het pairings are welcome, even the ones that squick you. To each their own. 5. Please put applicable warnings when posting links to adult fan art, official art, or doujinshi. If directly posting, please put the picture behind an lj-cut marked with appropriate warnings (i.e,: "Not Work Safe" or "NWS"). Some of us check this group in public places, such as work or school. 6. Please put applicable warnings if linking to or directly posting very large pictures or pages with lots of pop-ups. Some of us still have lower-end computers and/or 56K connections. 7. You may disagree with anyone or anything you choose. That is your right as an individual, and calm discussion is encouraged here. But please keep your comments respectful. I check my friends list every day, and I do not tolerate flaming or trolls. Make trouble, and I will ban you. 8. No character-bashing. You may complain or rant about ways certain characters have been 9. Keep all potentially incendiary posts friends-locked.
