OMUFUGUH! is an icon/graphics community made by three hyper 14-year-old Filipina friends (who haven't seen each other in 5 years and still counting) who aim to shake the world with icons.

OMUFUGUH! was made on May 15, 2007, wherein that particular day, Mika Siy, who was extremely hyper on said day, asked Dr. Krazia Lim, Ph.D, if together, they could make a super-fab icon community. Shortly after, both decided to invite Reus Lurid. And so, OMFG! was born. Interested in joining OMFG? Here are some samplers!

About Mika Siy (aisha_addict)

Mika Siy is some random Filipina stranded on the tiny island of Bohol, though she grew up in Manila. She started icon making last January 2007, believing that she could make a dent in the world, and if possible, patch up the ginormous hole in the ozone layer by throwing in a sufficient amount of her icons (if she could). She enjoys surfing the net, playing neopets (thus aisha_addict), drawing and writing occasionally and poking random things at random times, preferably now as well. *poke*


About Dr. Krazia Lim, Ph.D (chartre)

Dr. Krazia Lim (Ph.D) is also a random Filipina, but lives in Manila. She is a so-called doctor of tiny monkeys (which are convieniently located in her bathroom for some reason), but does not like talking about her profession, in fear of two certain snoopy reporters uncovering her latest scheme. She started icon making last March 2007, in hopes to destroy the world with her mucho caliente icons. She enjoys drawing, surfing the net, writing and fangirling mostly on BL.


About Reus Lurid (falya_kun)

Reus Lurid is another random Filipina who lives in Manila who makes graphics other than icons and friends only banners. She is the current best friend of Dr. Krazia Lim (Ph.D). She hides under a super-cool nickname in fear of the occasional stalker. She started icon/graphic making around 2003-ish, along with Dr. Krazia (though by a certain unfortunate accident she forgot), under the impression that she could turn the world into a giant cake and eat it with the aid of her muy bueno graphics. She enjoys indluging in arts in general (drawing, music, writing etc.), collecting pieces of inspiration (she puts them in her pocket when she finds one!) and saying random things at random times. Arsh! Haha. Though you don't see her a lot here at omfg, she is always with us.... Stalking.

Since omufuguh_icons is an all friends-only community, you have to join the community to be able to view our icons. Unfortunately, you are not allowed to post unless you are a maintainer. ^^;

Q: Why OMUFUGUH?
A: OMUFUGUH actually came from the phrase OMFG, a frequently mentioned acronym type of net speak that Dr. Krazia Lim, Ph.D started using around May 2007, and eventually became the same habit of Mika Siy. In the creation of this community, there was no available name, so Mika opted OMUFUGUH, with which her co-maintainer agreed.

Q: So does OMFG mean anything?
A: Apparently OMFG as netspeak does have a meaning, but it does not associate with the community title. OMFG is just the nickname, since OMUFUGUH is too long (Think WTF = wutuf). And if you're too particular about this, we don't mean to curse in the name of God and break the 2nd Commandment. We actually mean "Oh my farking gosh" by netspeak.

Q: What kind of icons do you make?
A: We make icons out of anything: anime, people, games, TV shows, etc. We're flexible!

Q: Do you do requests?
A: Fortunately, yes. But you have to join the community first. >D And don't bombard us with them though, we're still young, and we have school. D: If you do have a request, just follow the format of request submission in this post, and comment like so in said entry.

Q: How long will we expect our request?
A: Keep us watch, you'll see them in our posts. :) If you do get your said request, please remember to credit the work to the rightful iconist, and DO NOT HOTLINK.

Q: What are your rules?
A: Just the usual 'comment-credit-don't hotlink' kind of rules. More details can be found in our rules post.
