So, as many of you know, I like to poke around the internet and find what people are saying about Nerdgasm!... this person's review of the strip ran as such: Nerdgasm, man I love it when women draw comics and draw their real bodies. Mostly the author and her friends, these fannish freaks are people we all know and love. The humor is familiarly weird, sort of the anti-S*P M-W-F-ish. Also, the author's Hilarious LJ.I... think this is a positive review? Heh. Glad they enjoyed it, and glad somebody appreciates my drawing style. I do try to draw women more realistically, as in realistically proportioned, than most cartoonists do. I think describing the humor as the "anti-S*P" is not entirely incorrect, but a very interesting choice of description. And I wonder if my LJ is hilarious in an actually funny way or a "Ohmigod this person is so sad" kind of way. I kind of want to ask, but it might be a little creepy... though maybe no creepier than speculating on a stranger's LJ on my own. Heh. Anyways, I'll get a comic up this weekend. Promise.
