Hello!
I can't find a place that sells decent nori (seaweed sheets). There's that cheap stuff most grocery stores sell, but I want the nice crisp roasted and salted kind. Are there any local shops that sell some?

Hey Olympia!
I'm a junior Evergreen student, I'm 20, I have previous renting background and good credit. I'm Organized, and quite. Essentially I don't make a half bad roomie, and I have no problem sharing things as long as everything is respected. I have a wonderfully trained five year old Border Collie and I can't get a damn apartment anywhere! I need somewhere to live over the summer and I do not want to have to pay to move all my shit back to Portland. Why does Olympia hate dogs so much? He's better behaved than my four year old younger brother. Why accept a child like that when you can allow a dog like mine to live in the apartment, at least the dog is less likely to start a fire.

Come see Ignition! down at the Olympia pier this evening around 6pm-7pm. Ignition! is a troupe of fire performers local to Washington who perform fire breathing, fire eating, poi spinning, staff spinning and fan dancing.

I'm going to be moving out soon. Originally I was going to sell all my stuff to my roommate, but things have come up and he can no longer take it, and there's no way I can take it with me. So I figured I'd throw something up here and see what I can get.
36 inch Television and entertainment center-80$
In great condition, picture is very clear.

Very comfy, has a bit of a groove to the side, but other than that, it's in good condition.

I'm trying to help out a friend. She needs her house treated for termites and carpenter ants. Last year when she had this done by a traditional pest control company, she had a really bad reaction to the chemicals. Can anyone suggest a company that does less toxic (than the norm) pest control? She lives out on Harstine Island, so they need to be willing to go out there. I came across Eden Advanced Pest Technologies, who have a "Natural Choice Service" that looks just right for her. Alas, they don't go out to Harstine Island.

I'm looking for a ride to Portland after work on Friday. I get off at 5pm and I'd be at Artisans about then. I'll help out with Gas. I'm also looking for a Monday, noon or later ride back to Oly as well. If any of you can help out that'd be really awesome.

Sorry about all these last minute rideshare posts. I really would love to find someone who makes this run about every other week to share it with. I go back home a lot, boy and dog and what not, and I usually go for the train but the last few months have been too much up in the air for me make arrangements in time. I'm also hoping to help out my aunt at a saturday market flower deal. She owns a flower shop on Parkrose.

If anyone has an extra room or place on their couch or floor, I would really appreciate it. Things basically just went to shit with the girl I was staying with (we're fine, just her parents are threatening to cut her off entirely if I don't move out ASAP). She was letting me sleep on her couch and I've been looking for a job since I got here 3 weeks ago, but I've only had two interviews out of the 200+ applications I've filled out. (I even applied to be a costumed character at Chuck E. Cheese--if that isn't scraping the bottom of the job bowl, I don't know what is.)
I don't have any money to pay you right now, but I can cook and clean in exchange for a place to sleep. (I'm vegan, so I don't cook meat period, no exceptions. and I would prefer to not live in a meat-eating house, but beggars can't be choosers.)
But I cook well and clean a lot and I can do other stuff around the house, and I promise I'll move out as soon as I have a paycheck to prove to the credit union that I have a job so I can take out a loan to pay my deposit for an apartment. I've got a small cabinet (3 ft high, 2 ft wide, 1 ft long) for my clothes and one small box of other personal stuff, and a bike. That's it.
So if you have space in your home and your heart for a pretty clean-cut geeky queer vegan, please let me know. My e-mail is a(dot)ezrajames(at)gmail(dot)com. I have friends in town who can provide character references if you need them.

OKay, here's the deal. I know I posted a few days ago frantically looking for a ride to PDX to see the boyfriend and dog. Well I ended up working Saturday, so the boy found a ride to me. No dog. :(
Now he is looking for a ride back to PDX Today (Monday, April 28th) or Tomorrow (Tuesday, April 29th). He is willing to pitch in for gas.

Anyone know where I can get a solar backpack in the area? Preferably one that has the option of plugging in an AC plug, or has an adaptor so I can do that.
Otherwise, anyone know of a place that sells solar panels that are compact enough to bring camping (small enough to throw in a backpack)?

Can anyone recommend a good vet in Olympia/Lacey? Reasonable prices are a plus. I just adopted a young dog yesterday from another family, and need to find a vet in the area and would rather not just randomly pick one.
