Olympic Slash

This is a community for anything that's slashy and related to the Summer or Winter Olympic Games. This includes stories, pictures, news, interview clippings, or anything else that's slashy and is about athletes who have or will participate in any Olympic games, no matter the year or season. As of August 14, 2008, we're on moderated membership. Your membership will be approved if you're over the age of 14 and don't appear to be a troll. For more info contact the mod. Like any community, there must be a few ground rules.
01) Fanfiction is always welcome and is the focus of this community, provided that it has a rating and is behind an LJ cut. Fanfic rated NC-17 (or the equivalent in your country) that is posted directly to the community must be friends-locked. Redirecting to your journal is acceptable as long as your journal entry is not locked. For more information, including how to execute an LJ cut, please visit this page in the LJ FAQ. The film ratings used by the MPAA are commonly used, as well as the ratings used by the BBFC. Both are acceptable, but at least one is required.

02) Discussion posts, images, and articles that could be perceived as slashy are also welcome. It is preferable that these be behind the cut as well (unless your discussion is short/you're providing an article excerpt, etc). Begging people for fic or whining about how no one's writing your pairing is not accepted. Sticking a picture on it doesn't make it OK. Also, this is a slash community - that means do not post or discuss het here.

03) Use tags whenever applicable. Here are the currently listed tags. Your post needs the following tags: author, category, pairing, and rating tag at minimum. If it is part of a series, please request and add that tag to your post. If it requires a warning, please also add those tags. Check the tags before attempting to add a new one in case yours is already listed. Tagging is not optional. After your post is accepted you must tag it ASAP. If it is not tagged it will be purged at the end of the day or by the next morning.

04) This is a 14+ community. This rule is subject to change.

05) Introduction posts are not allowed. Please see the !intro post tag for the single intro thread.

06) There are several offenses that can get you banned: plagiarism or other theft, intentional disrespect, not following the rules, or posting other people's fic without permission, having a post removed 3 times.. Please follow up by reading this post with more information on how the ban procedure works.

07) Please do not take moderator actions. This is included, but not limited to: warning someone about tags, improper cuts, deleting any comments whatsoever, etc. If you have a problem, please contact a mod, but do not take matters into your own hands.
