Hi! *waves* I'm new, so here's a brief intro:
I'm Saathi1013, or StarsingerSaathi on ff.net, and I've been writing fanfiction for... dang, over ten years now, although you probably won't see any of my earliest works, 'cos they were pretty much crap and handwritten in notebooks before the internet told me that other people did this stuff too, and that it's called fanfic. I write in whatever fandom catches my eye or trips the muse's fancy (see icon); I just watched Tin Man last week (I know!) and apparently that's all it takes...

I've written and posted one Tin Man fic (slash, post-series, angsty/naughty Glitch/Wyatt one-shot), without beta - but I'm kind of stuck on the second fic (post series one-shot, PG, various shades of Glitch/Cain/DG) and don't know why it's not working right. It's all tense changes and stylistic weirdness, and while that's not usually a problem, it is now. I don't necessarily need spelling or grammatical oversight, so much as someone to help with why it's full of fail, and how to make it better. If that means a coauthor, I'm more than willing to share a byline.

Hi everyone, my names Sarah-Jane, I am a general lurker and slash fancier though I tend towards the fluff. I kind of got sidelined off my multi chapter thing I was poking around with and now I have this new sort of half baked story that I’m not sure is reading right and I’m a bit stuck on it. It’s also a bit complicated.

You see there’s a clone, blame Kseda.

And Leona’s there too, you can probably blame Kseda for that one too.

The rest is entirely my fault.

Here’s a list:

It has the potential, in my head anyway, to turn into a mad four way Cain/Glitch/Leona/Ambrose slashwich. I love writing crazy open relationships where there are more than two caring parties. However I am always afeared that there are going to be quite a lot of people squicked out by that.

Also, I am a bit unsure about Cain, he’s always a terror to write for me and I’m wondering if I need to expand his scenes more. Or if anyone has any tips on how to write a stoic tin man who is facing the fact that the head case he’s got a crush on is hooking up with someone else.

In conclusion, I have what I believe is the first half done. It seems a bit scant to me and rushed in some parts. If I can get someone to take a look at it, that’s brilliant. If not anything helps. So poke me, ask questions, I would love to start a dialogue before I go stumbling into the second half.

Hi, I am sorely in need of a beta for the last chapter of Binary Means Two. Does anyone remember that story? It's been forever, I know. But here looked like the best place to find an interested party. I pretty much cannot repay you except for hey, you get to read the last chapter before anyone else does and I could write you something if you really wanted.

I need someone with a good sense of grammar and pacing who's a bit gentle. I can take constructive criticism, I can't take someone tearing me a new zipper.

Hi Everyone,

Yes, it's true I've started on another epic and I'm in search of a beta or betas, the more the merrier.  This one shouldn't be too long, I'm guessing around 10,000 words. I've got about 2800 written.   I've had some wonderful help in the past but I don't want to bug the same people over and over, so I'm bugging everyone again :D

Eventually, it will be a first-time Ambrose/Cain (of course, it's me) but it also has an large Ambrose/OC component. Yes, jealous deliciousness insues.

Any takers?

PS Oh, and btw, to warn you up front, I don't have Wordperfect. I have MS Word, my other beta's and I have managed exchanging in common formats, such as wordpad.

I... think I need a beta. It's for an AU story, featuring the pairing DG/Glitch(squared). I've already got the first chapter posted here. I have the second chapter finished, as well as several parts that will be incorporated into later chapters. Overall, I'm planning on about 10-15 chapters that take place during the four days and three nights between the end of Part One and the eclipse, plus a two-part epilogue.

I'd love someone to take the time to read The Particulars of Friendship and point out the typos to me. The thing's long, involved, and the longer and more involved it is, the less likely I'm going to catch pesky word abuse. Why this story requires another set of eyes is easy: I'm busy, my time management skills are mighty low right now, and I'm probably writing too many stories at once. I love the story, even if it sucks the life out of me, and I want it to be, you know, Nearly Next to Perfect. I can't do that on my own. I admit it!

You should probably have loads of ample time... The ability to read a fan fic that's more original than canon without cringing... Fear not the slash or bisexuality... Also might help if you have a fondness for kittens, horses, invented languages, and having me in your debt for life. Your work will be appreciated by me if no one else. Just so you're warned.

The first six parts are already posted, if you want to look at it and see if you might be interested.

I've almost finished a new story, just over 3000 words and I want to break my very bad habit of just throwing my stuff online unbeta'd. So if anyone would like to look over this one and wrangle all my terrible grammar and writing flaws (which are legion) in to submission, I'd be mighty grateful.

Hey, all! I'm looking for a beta or two for a long fic (9,000-10,000 words) that'll be finished later today. Grammar isn't an issue (but always something to keep an eye out for, naturally); more, I'm looking for betas to look closely at the storyline (does it make sense?), timeline, details (too much, not enough), and so on. This might be pretty grueling, so I'd love someone who would be willing to really dig into the story and tell me how to finalize it for posting.
