Tom Delonge says he didn’t want to be in “another bullshit pop-band playing for 14 year old girls”.
The irony being - Blink182 had a better chance of “changing the world” and “meaning something” than AvA ever will. It was a FUN band that made kids happy and had meaning.
That’s sad to see because Blink wasn’t a bullshit pop-band to me.

Oh, and I forgot to mention that I was a tad younger than 14 when I heard of Blink. I only like a couple of A&A songs, but I don't think they are or ever going to be bigger than Blink in my opinion. I hate how he's acting like a music god now, if it weren't for Blink he probably wouldn't have gotten far. And Mark was right, a lot of A&A songs sound alike, haha.
