Paris Hilton & Stavros Niarchos Split
Paris Hilton and her boyfriend, Greek shipping heir Stavros Niarchos, have split, a source close to Hilton tells PEOPLE.

When asked about the split, Hilton's rep, Elliot Mintz, says, "It is not my policy to comment on my client’s private life. But I would not offer a denial."

Hilton, 25, and Niarchos, 21, began dating last year.

Last month Hilton threw Niarchos a surprise 21st birthday bash at her Hollywood Hills pad. Some 100 guests turned out for the party, during which "Stavros did back flips into the pool and jumped from one end to the other," said a guest. "Everyone gasped and begged him not to continue because his stunts looked dangerous."

The happy couple were inseparable that night, holding hands and kissing.

Niarchos was previously involved with Mary-Kate Olsen, whom he left for Hilton.

For her part, Hilton was previously engaged to Paris Latsis, also a Greek shipping heir.

Meh. Somehow, the world has seen it coming. I doubt Paris will ever marry before her 30's. Even then, within 2 years of marriage one of them will file for divorce papers.

that's wierd. she was on ellen yesterday and didn't act strange when ellen asked her about him.


the fact that ellen had a bunch of dogs on her show almost made up for the fact that paris was on.

why somene would want to be with this girl is beyond me. she's ugly, she looks like a little boy, her vocabulary is limited to 20 words and she probably does have an STD or two...or three. We all know it's not her personality. It's not her money either because most of the men she's been with have money.

ha thats sort of funny because my boyfriend was greek and we just broke things off last friday so i sort of feel for her... you cant really mix greek with anything else because they expect to always be the dominant person in the relationship. they want girls to worship them but at the sametime obey their every command. my ex was insanely jealous and referred to all of my guy friends as "threats" (most he hadn't even met!), he even tried the THEM or ME approach and look where that got us.
