Overheard In L.A.: Lucy Lawless is Wonderwoman
Public transportation isn't always a drag. While showing my mom around our dirty city, I opened up my ears to the conversations around me. A music teacher (or so he claimed) was trying to pick up the girl sitting next to me. He was telling her that he's been working on the background music for Wonder Woman (due out in 2007), and that Lucy Lawless will be playing the lead roll.

I know there's been a lot of speculation of who will be given the roll, and I know you can't trust every long haired mack you meet on the bus, but Hollywood's also chock full of insider information, if you know where to look, so, take it with a grain of salt, but if he were making it up, he would have picked someone more appealing to a woman than Xena.

	I own two cars and I take the bus to places like downtown because, dude, traffic sucks, and save the planet and stuff. I mean, he could still totally be lying, but taking the bus and being able to afford a car are not mutually exclusive. (Reply to this) (Parent)

	I personally think she's a great choice. She has the body for it and can obviously play the strong woman superhero role. An unknown would be good too, but I agree with Lawless...as long as she dyes her hair back to black! (Reply to this) (Thread)

	Xena rules all. How old was Wonder Women supposed to be? All this Lucy is too old crap doesn't seem right. It's Wonder WOMEN not Wonder Teen, Wonder Co-ed, Wonder Adolescent. I mean if you really didn't know Lucy's age how old would you think she is? Hell, she looks younger then Sienna Miller. (Reply to this)
