Although tbh this sounds like a blatant retread of the Sophia plot from season one.

First season is really good if you like the Arthur and Merlin characters being front and center and for the most part the writing is pretty even and quite good in a few episodes. Season two is hit or miss and how you view it totally depends on how you loved season one. There are quite a few WTF moments in season two and characters make some weird ass choices, but far its pretty good.

I gues if you liked shows such as Robin Hood, Xena or Hercules you will like this. Just do not expect an even pace through out lol

First season is still the best to me as well. Season two is just too random, characters are completely randomly written to suit a plot device and not as they were written as real people in season one AND the core draw, the Arthur and Merlin bromance, is being completely underwritten along with the awesome woman that is Morgana.

However, the later episodes of season two do sound promising.

ohnotheydidnt... I need advice.

Last night, I met this fucking amazing guy. He was sexy, with a personality to match... we fucked 4 times last night. And we admitted to each other we are crushing on one another + he said he wants to take me out on a date.

So... this morning, over coffee we are getting to know each other, and i ask him where he works. Turns out, he works with my ex. And.... they may (probably) have slept together / even been seeing each other or maybe are seeing each other in the last couple months. We've been broken up for about 6 months now...

I feel sick to my stomach about it. But at the same time I really like him. Do i pursue it? Or avoid the drama? Its incredibly hard to find a gay man like him... And I haven't felt this way about anyone in a really really long time... AHHHHHHH

I say go for it. Life is too short to worry about what other people will think as you can never control that, but what you can control is your own happiness and making that happen for you in the present. So, if the guy is as great as you say and he is as in to you as you are of him as well then just go for it and wish you the best of luck !

He has gotten really thin in season two. You really notice it though when you see him in the season opener to the first season. Its like looking at a different actor all together because Colin has a bit of weight on him and his hair is not so severely cut.

I watched my first episode today. The one with Sir Lancelot (WHAT A FUCKING UNF LIKE GUY) and I'm totally digging it. Now watching the Edward with the damaged face episode.
I just still laugh my ass off when Lancelot said 'Do you know Arthur?' and Merlin said 'OH YEAH 8D' and I just went OMFG LOLOL I LIKE.

"Arthur in danger/magic love" plots are good for getting the whole cast involved in an episode, I guess. I'm really interested in Freya, Norse mythology out of nowhere? And Merlin needs to get some action, angsting over how Arthur ~*doesn't see him for what he really is*~ is adorable, but a little aggravating if there isn't going to be a magic reveal any time soon.

Still waiting for Nimueh to be not quite dead yet.
