they are the numbers on the hatch, the numbers desmond put into the comp to quiet down whatever was going one, hurley's cursed lotto numbers, and the numbers the french woman had on the paper

does anyone else have the feeling that either a)Michael's surgeon was Jack b)Jack's father was Michael's surgeon (which would be why him and Jack dont seem to know each other) c)Michael wasn't supposed to walk but Desmond showed up and did some witch doctor shit

and that Michael and Locke's accident might have been with each other, and Michael was healed but Locke was paralyzed.

I spend far too much time thinking about a tv show....

Michael lived in New York City, didn't he? Jack and his dad lived in Los Angeles. And even if Jack or his dad were specialists, there are probably plenty of qualified people in NYC that Michael wouldn't have to go to rehab somewhere else.

If you take the same coordinates, and switch them from east to west (or the other way around), you get Nigeria I believe, which is where the Priest smuggler person was from.

FYI...the theory that the numbers are really coordinates has been floating around the net for almost as long as the show has been on the air. I think I saw that map more than 6 months ago!

Yeah, I'm sure once the numbers came up pretty much the next day someone had thought to do that. I was just making a rough estimate. I can't remember how long exactly I'd seen that thing. There've been so many numbers possibilities, I think I've seen coordinates, periodic table elements, Yankee numbers, and many more XD

I recently found an interesting natuarlly occuring thoery found in our world that states everyone has a mirror image somewhere in the world. You may have heard of this. Its called Roussau's genetic mirror theory, and I must say it is very interesting. Roussau's genetic mirror theory says that everyone in the world has an exact twin somewhere, however according to the theory you never encounter this person, by laws of probablitly and other natuaral occuring phemnomen. Its the theory that was devised by a French Mathematician named Marseille Roussau in the year 1988. He used a series of numbers to explain his theory. Now I know you're not going to believe this but here goes.

Let me explain...

The 4 stands for 4 degrees of separation (not 6 or 7 as commonly stated.) Roussau believed that everyone in the world was connected by four different people. So in theory could meet yourself by using four different people connected to you. Example: Your brother's, boss's, neighbor nephew, knows your mirror. Hard to believe, I know but keep reading.

The 8 stands for the eight continent, or the only place in the world where you could meet your mirror. He calculated it to be somewhere in the south pacific. Now we know its not actually as large as the other contintents but its used figurtively because everyone in all 7 continents could meet there mirror on the 8th universal continent.

The 15 stands for the chances of you acually meeting yourself on this place, as in 15 out of 4,815,162,342. Look at the second set "815." Ring any bells? Interesting huh?

The 16 stands for the maximum amount of people that could encounter thier twin all at the same time. Think about the number of main characters.

The 23 is the number of years apart your twin and yourself are. You are not the same age as your twin. By chance and probablity it takes 23 years exactly for the same genes that made you to be connected again to form another you.

The 42 stands for the maximimum number of years your twin and yourself can be alive at the same time. However people do die at diffferent times so thats why everyone isn't dead at 75. For example my twin was born on Sept. 6 2003 b/c i was born on Spet. 6 1980. Now that doesn't mean i will die in the year 2045, I could, but its not set in stone. My twin could die when he is 16, and then the whole thing starts over again.

This is all very complicated and I don't know how well I explained it but the connections with the show are too coinidental to not be real.

Roussau and his team (wife, included) went to the 8th continent. You can figure out how they died and why by the numbers and equations. It also fits with every character. You can predict when they will die. There are others on the island who are twins of the survivors, but have been there 23 years longer.

Ok, so the theory going around is that they have crashed on this 8th continent where there twins have been for "23" years. Also remember the French women's distress call has been playing for "16" years. If you recall on tonights episode that the number written on the wall in the hatch was "108." Well 4+8+15+16+23+42=108 (creepy) The entire show's plot is based around these numbers.

Also, Boone died the same day that Aaron (the baby) was born. Can we assume that Boone was 23 years old? Maybe somebody remembers something about Boones age, I can't remember.

The last name of the author is the same as the "French" women in the show.

There is also a baseball connection with the numbers. The last 6 numbers retired by the Yakees are 4-8-15-16-23-42. Aaron (the baby) and Boone make up Aaron Boone who hit the game winning home run in the 2003 ALCS. "and that's why the Red Sox will never win the world series" is the line that Jack and his Father use. Make sense, ahhhh I love this kind of stuff. No matter what's true and what's not true, this is the best show I'v ever seen.

You really have to pay attention to the little details of this show. It all comes together. For instance, somebody mentioned that when the guy is typing on the computer at the beginning of this weeks episode, he is typing the numbers. And the injection he took had the numbers on the bottle.

I Google Earth'ed it, and there's nothing but a bunch of underwater mountains there, however there is a small island just to the right of it.
