Stars Who Stole Their Style From Other Celebs

We're not sure we believe the Internet buzz that Angelina Jolie is fuming because Megan Fox has stolen her look. But we wouldn't blame Angie for being pissed at the rumors that Megan might be playing the title role -- the one Jolie made famous -- in the next Lara Croft movie (Megan has denied the story).

Still, we can't help but notice the resemblance between the two actresses, from the flowing raven-colored hair to the shoulder-blade tats. Coincidence? We'll let you be the judge. And while you're pondering the Fox vs. Jolie smackdown, take a look at these other celebs who've "borrowed" style tips from their idols.

Jennifer Love Hewitt vs. Audrey Hepburn: Even though Jennifer Love Hewitt played the icon in the 2000 made-for-TV movie "The Audrey Hepburn Story," she was hardly as fashionable off-screen as she was in the film. But, it seems that over through the years Love Hewitt has taken cues from the late "Breakfast at Tiffany's" star and is looking more sophisticated with each walk down the red carpet.

Lindsay Lohan vs. Ann-Margret: According to Lindsay Lohan, she didn't know who Ann-Margret was until people started saying she looked like her. Then she began watching the older star's films and listening to her music, and the next thing you know, she's LiLo's idol. Rumors were swirling about a year ago that the pair were set to star in a Jack Black film. No word on the status of the project.

Anna Nicole Smith vs. Marilyn Monroe: We won't get into the obvious and enormous differences between Marilyn Monroe and Anna Nicole Smith. But in some ways they did lead strangely coincidentally parallel lives. They both worked their way up from humble beginnings to fame and fortune, they both married young to escape unhappy childhoods, and they were both Playboy Playmates. Anna spent her life trying to be just like her idol. She wore her hair like her, she dressed like her, she posed for photos like her, and — in the saddest coincidence of all — she even died a tragic death like her.

Christian Slater vs. Jack Nicholson: Christian Slater has often been compared to Jack Nicholson. Some of the mentions have included "Jack Nicholson impersonator," "the poor man's Jack Nicholson," "Jack Nicholson wannabe," and "a second-rate Jack Nicholson." Poor Christian. Personally, we think he's right up there with Jack for both talent and style. He can't help it if God blessed him with the same pointy and highly emotive eyebrows and a slow drawl. We'd love to see them play father and son in a movie sometime. Just putting it out there.

Matthew McConaughey vs. Paul Newman: Early in his career Matthew McConaughey was almost constantly compared to Paul Newman. They were both blue-eyed pretty boys with serious acting chops. That was quite an honor for McConaughey, who claims the "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" star was his favorite actor (he even named his dog Hud). But somewhere along the line Matthew started getting better known for being shirtless than for his skills on the screen. He was voted People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive in 2005. Paul Newman never got that honor, but he did get an Oscar, an Emmy, and a few Golden Globes. Maybe Matthew should keep his shirt on.

Skeet Ulrich vs. Johnny Depp: Funky hat? Check. Stylish facial hair? Check. Wide-collar shirt? Check? Cool-guy half-smile? Check. Mega-blockbuster motion picture? OK. So Johnny's one up on Skeet in the success department. Now all Skeet has to do is become a huge movie star.

James Franco vs. James Dean: James Franco looks so much like Hollywood legend James Dean that he was cast as the larger-than-life movie icon in a 2001 TV biopic (Johnny Depp, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Ethan Hawke had all said, "No thanks"). The film was Franco's big breakthrough role (after one season on TV's "Freaks and Geeks"), and his method acting, which included cutting himself off from all family and friends and smoking two packs of cigarettes a day, earned the newcomer a Golden Globe award and an Emmy nomination. And though he put the role behind him, he can't escape the high cheekbones, great hair, and brooding eyes he shares with Dean.

Evan Rachel Wood vs. Dita Von Teese: What's a young actress to do when she wants to escape the nice girl roles and show Hollywood she's a grown up? Why, start dressing like a '40s-era glam/goth stripper, of course. That was the answer for Evan Rachel Wood, anyway. It seems like she made a concerted effort to look exactly like the Queen of Burlesque, Dita Von Teese. The coincidental similarities are made even creepier by the fact that at the time Wood was dating Von Teese's ex-husband, Marilyn Manson. It takes all kinds.

Adam Lambert vs. Elvis Presley
: Adam Lambert is the chameleon performer of a thousand looks, and he's been compared to all sorts of artists, from Freddie Mercury to Eddie Munster. But our favorite Adam look is his early-'60s Elvis: snakeskin suit, skinny tie, greased-back hair, and one-sided sneer. Let's just hope he doesn't progress to the sequined capes and matching bell-bottoms if he ends up as a Vegas act.
