10 THINGS I HATE ABOUT YOU THEN & NOW POST
ONTD, it's almost 2009 which means that it's almost 10 years ago that 10 Things I Hate About You was released. Time for an actors update post y/y
KAT STRATFORD - JULIA STILES
Julia's most recent film projects are novel adaptations -- Julia portrays Esther Greenwood in an adaptation of Sylvia Plath's The Bell Jar and Jenny in an adaptation of Patricia Highsmith's Cry of the Owl. Both are set for a 2009 release.
PATRICK VERONA - HEATH LEDGER
January 22 will be Heath's one year death anniversary :( R.I.P.
CAMERON JONES - JOSEPH GORDON-LEVITT
JGL is loved by ONTD for his hot photoshoot with supermodels. Projects for 2009 include G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra (with ~starcast~ including Sienna Miller, Channing Tatum, Brendan Fraser etc etc), The Frog King (written by Bret Easton Ellis, directed by Darren Star & based on the novel by Adam Davies) and 500 Days Of Summer (with Zooey Deschanel)
BIANCA STRATFORD - LARISA OLEYNIK
~little Bianca~ AKA Alex Mack has not been up to as much as the rest of the lead cast. She most recently starred in a semi-Lifetime family movie called Together Again For The First Time. Other than that she's been doing a few TV appearances such as a role on "Aliens In America" this year.
JOEY "EAT ME" DONNER - ANDREW KEEGAN
Used to star in 7th Heaven for a while, after that not much. He did some large roles in small movies. :( Mr. Donner now stars in a movie called Fast Glass which is due to be released soon (watch trailer omg it looks awful)
MICHAEL - DAVID KRUMHOLTZ
Stars in CBS crime show Numb3rs as Charlie Eppes. In 2008, he also made movie appearances in Harold & Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay and Demption.
DR. WALTER STRATFORD - LARRY MILLER
Will be starring in the ultimate failboat project -- the TV show adaptation of 10 Things I Hate About You, reprising his role :( It is scheduled to air in 2009.
MANDELLA AKA SHAKESPEARE'S LOVER - SUSAN MAY PRATT
Has been srsly inactive, doing about 1 guest appearance a year in small TV shows. Married this dude and has kids with him.
CHASTITY - GABRIELLE UNION
In 2008, Gabrielle starred in Meet Dave and Cadillac Records (alongside Adrien Brody). She also made an appearance on "Ugly Betty" for 3 episodes as Renee Slater.
MR. MORGAN/ENGLISH TEACHER - DARYL MITCHELL
Mitchell was paralyzed from the waist down in a November 2001 motorcycle accident. After the accident, he appeared on the TV program Ed between 2002 and 2004 as a bowling alley manager who was paralyzed after an accident not unlike Mitchell's own. He later started the Daryl Mitchell Foundation to raise awareness of spinal cord injuries and serves as the Minority Outreach spokesperson for the Christopher Reeve Foundation.
Recently appeared on 2 episodes of "The Game", and most importantly, an episode of The Suite Life of Zack & Cody.
BOGEY LOWENSTEIN - KYLE CEASE
His most recent work is appearing in a movie called "The Hand Job" in 2005. He is also involved in stand-up comedy.
MS. PERVY/PERKY - ALLISON JANNEY
Kept herself busy, won a lot of awards. Starred in Juno & Hairspray and has 5 movie releases scheduled for 2009. Did the voiceover for Dr. Doofenschmirtz's wife in Disney's "Phineas & Ferb".
MR. CHAPIN AKA THE COACH - DAVID LEISURE
Apparently hosted a hidden camera show called "Teed Off", in which they pulled pranks on golf players. IDK.
