Mindy's Goin' To Jail
Arrest Warrant Issued for Mindy McCready

An arrest warrant has been issued for Mindy McCready, accusing the "Guys Do It All the Time" country singer of violating her probation on a drug charge, say authorities in Tennessee.
The warrant went out because McCready, 28, left the state without her probation officer's permission and failed to report to the officer during July, Williamson County sheriff's officials tell the Associated Press.
Authorities said this was McCready's second probation violation, which means she can no longer post bond and will likely face jail time.
The probation violations stem from charges brought against McCready last year, when she pleaded guilty to fraudulently obtaining the painkiller OxyContin at a pharmacy in Williamson County. She was fined $4,000, sentenced to three years of supervised probation and ordered to perform 200 hours of community service.
McCready violated her probation on May 6 when she was charged with driving under the influence in Nashville.
Shortly after that, McCready's boyfriend, William McKnight, was charged with attempted murder after allegedly breaking into her home and beating her.
Last month, McCready was released from a Florida hospital after an apparent suicide attempt at an Indian Rocks Beach hotel, authorities said.

ALSO, on the same subject....popular country music writer Hazel Smith (Via CMT.com) had this to say about McCready's recent situation:
"Aug. 30 is the next trial date set for Mindy McCready. Lord only knows what can or will occur in that girl's life between now and then. I found it theatrical that she OD'ed in the lobby of a Florida Holiday Inn where everybody could see her. Maybe I'm hard-hearted, but when a set pattern continues -- one never-ending travesty after another -- it just gets threadbare, worn and old. She's a pretty girl with a great voice who, from day one, has thrown away each and every opportunity presented to her."
Hazel said it well.
